Are cashews raw if they are purchased in a grocery store? Do you buy the really raw ones online? THanks!

They need to be hand-shelled to be considered raw. Most of the ones that say raw aren't. Retail store suppliers vary from store to store so you need to find out from a particular location who they use. Every Whole Foods is different.
