seeds, sprouts and keepers of the forest?

Hi there,
as you can see I'm a seed, whcih makes sense since I joined recently. However I noticed that some people who have been here 3 years and postet over a hundred messages are still seeds whereas others who did the same are sprouts. Any clues?

It's all based upon number of posts and not the length of time one has been a member. So, if someone signed on in 2004, if they've only posted 10 times, they're a seed! :D

Here's how it breaks down:

You start off as a "seed"

When you reach 200 post, you burst into a "sprout".

You then turn into a "leaf" at 500 post.

You reach "tree" status at 2000 post

You ground yourself in the "forest" when you reach 8000 post

I have been here since 2005 as well but I am a bit lazier than they are so have not made it to the forrest yet.

haha some folks have more to say,more experience,more time on their hands,more gifts to give....etc. not about the numbers or the labels to me.Seems the world is about reaching status and rank.Rawfood is not about that to me.Its about vibrant health and supporting and encouraging all to be the best they can be.Never been a contest person.I am concerned over the day I "sprout"...I just love being called a seed.....teehee.

I often keep my opinion to myself or, write and delete. I tend to state w/out a lot of frou frou. Many can't hear it.. they need to frou frou and they'll concentrate on the lack of frou frou rather than the message. :cool:
