Image verification on search

the string of numbers and letter that I have to put in that box...why do this? It seems like such an unimportant annoyance, because when I put the string of images in the box....I have to keep re doing it, L:rolleyes:L:rolleyes:L:rolleyes:L:rolleyes:L !!!!

Ohhhh, on the Search? My bad. Read too fast and not accurately. Hmmm. I dunno. That's not come up for me. I rarely use the 'nana, just the lil search thingy in the tool bar next to "new posts".

I use the search feature quite often and have never gotten that.

However, I just logged myself out and attempted to do a search and THEN I got that image verification thingy. So, check your log-in status the next time you try to search. Other than that... :::shrugs:::...don't know why it's happening.

In another thread where someone was having trouble staying logged in or posting, someone mentioned it could be her "cookies"...might wanna check that as well!

I don't know. Perhaps just part of the new software that was used when upgrading the forum.
