I've read about the raw lifestyle for a while now and am convinced that I should give it a shot. Being that this is my day off, I work as a lifeguard/counselor at a camp for special needs right now, I've decided to join the August challenge...yay!
Looking forward to personal growth and change as well as meeting great people here.

YAY! Your body, mind, and soul will not regret it. Do you have Alissa's book and DVD? Powerful tools to help one on their raw lifestyle.
Welcome!

HI All
So far, Day one is great....wow!! how do you go for 27 days! And, for inspiration, if anyone would care to share some transformational comments (the differences they felt and saw, changes in their bodies) it would be greatly appreciated. I currently work at a job that I don't really love, at an office, and I think I eat half the time just to make the day pass. I'm making yoga my primary vocation come September, however, so all that should change. Who else is on the Raw-Gust challenge???

Well, I had to look in the mirror and stop lying to myself. I said "self" if you are going to do this...you're REALLY going to do it. Then I committed 100%.
I did it the same way everyone does, by starting...by making mistakes...and getting back on the horse. Read the early days of my blog and you'll laugh. It's how you'll feel on Day 27 too...looking back.

Part II (the sequel)
So far my depression is gone, my skin is smoother (no bumps on my arms and behind) more energy, no migranes, sleep better, no roseacia, healthier gums, less wrinkles, and 10lbs down. AND ONE HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE 24/7! How's that for a quick health-U-turn?
