Evening, all.
Well, what's there to say? I'm completely and utterly new to this ENTIRE idea and lifestyle, but I'm already won over.
Only a matter of hours ago, I was at work (I'm an apprentice at a funeral home - that's right, a mortician), and a lady came in looking for a director. All our directors had gone home for the evening, but I answered a couple of her questions, gave her a pamphlet or two, and expected that to be that.
However, we ended up getting into a nearly hour-long discussion on the "raw and living" lifestyle. She shed a lot of light on it and gave me a few websites to check out once I got home.
Long story short, I'm doing my research and it's really pumping me up to try this whole thing out.
I'm going to purchase Alissa's book tomorrow. It'll be a complete 180, but it seems totally worth it.
Anyone in the Houston area? I could use a buddy. Or a guide.
(And I WILL be blogging.)
G'night!
