I have an abundance of garden lettuce from my DIL and although I am making smoothies and salads like crazy I still have tons of it! So can I freeze it to throw into smoothies?
I know some of the nutrition will be lost but I don't mind using frozen fruit. I am wondering if anyone has done this and what the results are?
Thank you so much!!

I actually blend my greens, put into canning/freezing jars and freeze the liquid. Then it's ready when I make my green smoothies...

What a great idea! I sure hadn't thought of this, do you just put in water and the greens then? I do have a lot of canning jars too. Thank you!!

Yes. I use some water (I can always add more when making the actual GS. Yep. I figured why not?
