oh dear, I thought it was too easy the last week since I've been 100% raw. Today though I'm having a really bad day. Mentally and physically. Feeling sick since lunchtime. After I had a couple of nut/pepper/avocado/mushroom nori wraps. Actually makes me feel sick thinking about them now. Not sure if they caused my sickness ... who knows. Mentally I feel partly "what a ridiculous idea, I want pizza" and partly I still know it's the way to go. Could anyone out there cheer me up please? Maybe you all went through the same at some point. I'm hungry but all I can think of is Pizza or Spaghetti. The thought of all things raw is really off putting. Maybe you guys have suggestions what you did feel like eating in moments like these?
:(

me again. Last night took a whole new dimension from when I last wrote. Basically I was really vigorously sick the whole night. In the end I was still sick with my stomach being empty already. I'm doing this whole diet because I have MS and this morning I could hardly walk and had hot flashes. Awful. My boyfriend gave me some water with honey, a banana and boiled some rice which I'm having right now and do feel better. Also we fell out over me not eating enough etc, which is not true, I simply didn't keep what I was eating.
Is it a normal thing for the detox to be so strong? Think I might go back to having one cooked meal a week for a while. Actually will see how this day goes.

Hello,

Please hang in there! You are on the right track. Everyone's detox is different, but I'm sure that you won't feel this bad for long. You can do it. Just get lots of rest and relaxation. You will be fine soon. Raw is the best thing that you can do to heal your MS.

Blessings,

Oh I so agree with Audrey. Please hang in there. I think too that some green smoothies would really help "settle" your stomach...adding some ginger in there.
Sending energies your way!!!

I agree, try to hang in there - you will feel so much better once you get through this. I had some detox symptoms so bad once I felt like I was coming out of my body. It really scared me. But then it passed and I felt like a new person. Each time I go back to raw I experience different symptoms, some severe, some not so severe...the key is to hang in there. You won't be sorry, especially when you finally start seeing the positive changes.:)

thanks for your answers. feeling back to fairly normal now at least. Hoped to feel suddenly much better, but I know I have to be patient. At least my exzema seems already better!! must get alissa's book asap. Got a bit bored of salads and look forward to following her 30 day plan.

has been an enormous help to me. It gives me new ideas when I'm ready for them, as well as taking me back to the basics when I start to feel overwhelmed.

Detox for me is always beastly, and it's probably because I don't stay 100% that I have to keep going through it. There was one night in December when I was eating very high raw and nearly passed out from intestinal troubles. Not pleasant. I'm hypoglycemic too, and that makes things interesting sometimes.

Hugs to you!!
