Hello everyone. My name is George from Chicago. I've been 100% raw for a month and a half in the summer of '06. I had an extraordinary experience and know personally just some of the benefits of being 100% raw. I weigh in at over 300lbs. so I have a long way to go. Currently this is my fifth day raw and I feel I have more knowledge now to succeed. It goes something like this, when you're hungry... EAT(raw that is)! Simple right? Looks like I'm in for one heck of a ride.

Hi George, I would love to chat with you about your experience. Thank you for posting your start date. I just completed my first day of raw...I have tons of things that I need answered. I am a school teacher in Evanston Illinois, so maybe we can chat.

Hi George - welcome to the forum -- looking forward to viewing your journey. I am not new to eating healthy, but new to discipline in concert with food, so congrats on the decision to eat and be healthy ! I am in the WI area, so I am glad to see more Midwesterners taking to the land :)

Blessings,
