Hi,

I posted a thread and saw that someone replyed to it, but now I can't find it?? I've looked all over but I just don't see it anymore. Earlier that happened and so I logged out and then saw it. So I logged in again, but then when I tried to reply to someones message I started experiencing the same problem I had a couple days ago. It kept telling me I'm not logged in. I kept relogging in and choosing "remember me" option and it would on the general board. But when i go into the discussions area of the diet section it wouldn't have me logged in. I'm confused

Hi,

Your post/thread that you started is still there...not sure if you scrolled down a bit to see it or not. You can also click on your own username and click on where it says, "View posts by" and/or "View threads started by" to find your own posts.

I'm not sure what's going on with the log-in issue, it sounds like it could potentially be your computer, perhaps a virus or something is on your system causing this because it's not happening commonly with all members so it's not the forum itself.

Do you have a spyware detector or anti-virus program on your system that you can run to check for potential problems?

It sounds like it might be a cookies issue. Cookies in the computer world are basically little bits of information about you that web sites keep track of. For example, they keep track of who you are on the board, so you don't need to login all the time. But some people might have a setting checked on their computer where they say "disable cookies", so the web site can't keep track of who you are, and will make you log in again and again.

So if you are using internet explorer, find the "options" from the menu and look for anything called "disable cookies" or "only allow cookies from these sites" and add www.rawfoodtalk.com. If you are using Firefox look under preferences under the Privacy setting, and select "keep cookies until they expire".

Good luck, and lets hope you can resolve this!

Thanks so much pixieled and rawkinlocs! I will definitly look into all your suggestions regarding my computer. I have been having some problems lately with it so maybe I needed this to happen to stop putting it off and begin to finally fix it. Thanks again. I'm sure I will be able to resolve it.
