Pure Food and Wine is amazing. (17th and Irving, near 3rd avenue) I ate at lunchtime. The main restaurant isn't open but much of the same food is available around the corner at their takeout place, which also has a few tables. Not cheap, but a truly amazing experience.
My kids were like "no, no, don't make us eat here" but they gobbled it up and wanted more.

The main restaurant is open for dinner, but not lunch. As least as of May.
I bought the cook book and, even when I make it, the food is at another level. The recipes aren't as quick to make as Alissa's, but it is "fancier" and I like to make it for guests.

I'm traveling and don't have my Vegan Guide to NYC handy. It specifically lists raw food restaurants.
However, I'm poking around the net and found this website:
http://www.giveittomeraw.com/newyork/
There are three grocers in Brooklyn. My memory tells me there's also a raw restaurant there, but other parts of my memory tell me that it closed (and I never got there :-(
Good luck! Hey, it's a short train ride into the lower east side for a wealth of great raw food.
