Hi all. I have raw chocolate powder and several other staples. Unfortunately, I have very few chocolate related recipies. Please, hit me with all the suggestions you have! I'm aching for a chocolate drink right now. Thanks!

Tetris15,

Check out this thread on here: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=29006&highlight=Best+Coffee+Ever (I've made it and it's divine and it's choclatey too.

Also go up top under where there is a banana picture and click on there and type in Chocolate Drink on the left part, then click the arrow part and you want to be on the Title Post Only, then search under Raw Food Recipes and Preparation and you may find more.

Blend some frozen bananas with some water, a couple tbsp. Cacao and sweetener of choice.
YUM.

Blend cacao with a young coconut's water and meat.

Blend cacao with 1/4 cup of cashews or 2 tbsp. Cashew butter (or any other nut, really), and a cup of water and some ice, and sweetener of choice.

This is my favorite chocolate drink ever....even when on SAD. It's Chocolate Banana Milkshake and it is so yummy and satisfying. I am going to have one for breakfast tomorrow. :)

ChaiLife,

Whoa, this looks amazing. Thanks. I usually make the RawVeganMom's Best coffee one and add 1 banana.

Don't think I've ever had 3 bananas in a row. It's an old SAD mindset I think that thinks this is too much fruit. I'll have to give it a whirl since it looks so good. Do you add the optional ingredients too?

Your quote made me think of the song "This is The Day" that I used to hear all the time in church.

I usually make up some nut milk at the start of the week and store it in the fridge to make a couple of chocolate milkshakes when I want them.

To make nut milk I blend 1 cup nuts (usually almonds) with 3 cups mineral water and strain through nut milk bag - or sometimes I'm lazy and don't strain it, if you have a Vitamix you don't have to as it's blended so fine.

Then I chuck a glass full of nut milk into a blender with 1 large (or 2 small) bananas, 1 dessert spoonful raw cacao powder, 2 medjool dates and dash of vanilla essence. Simple but soooo good! :D

Would probably work well with frozen banana too - I must try that!

Spiralgirl,

This drink is so amazing! Right now I am on a scavenger hunt to find the ingredients for the coffee drink. I soooooo want to try it.

For the chocolate drink, I have simplified it a little. I use 1 coconut, 2 bananas, a little vanilla, a little salt, agave, some ice, raw carob and chocolate. blend it up and enjoy.

I like Alissa's "Mudslide" - water, bananas, almonds, and dates - mixed with chocolate powder. I blend it with ice to make it really cold.
