Ghost, you grow them in your backyard? Did you just plant a berry? How long did the plant take to mature?

Does anyone know where to get the fresh berries (meaning the juicy ones, not dried)? I'm totally gonna try planting some, but I read they take a couple years to produce berries...and I'm just not that patient :D
Bodaflower, where did your brother get them? Or did he grow his own?
