I was all excited, finally had the cash to buy Alissa's book today.
Border's didn't carry it, Barnes and Noble didn't carry it...is the only place to get it online??
Also, if you're short on funds, what would you buy the book or the dvd?
What is the difference between the two?
Is it like The Secret, where they are both exactly the same?
Do they really go hand in hand or is one or the other better??
Thanks!

The book has a wealth of information, testimonials and of course recipes.it is huge! The DVD makes it so real...so approachable, to see Alissa in person making the food and talking to you in priceless...I know...I didn't help at all...they are both great!

the book through eBay, didn't get the DVD though I've heard/read it's fantastic. Both can be purchased through this website if I'm not mistaken.
Personally I love the book, it's absolutely huge and breaks down the basic information without being overwhelming. Alissa's got a great writing style, very personable, and she shares her own story and pictures. The recipe section is Enormous! She also has a food combining chart and sprouting chart which I have found helpful, but again, for me it's the recipes and all the space within the book to take notes. I love it!

I got the book. I didn't get the DVD because I'm not a DVD person. I don't much like watching TV, no matter what. But books I can deal with.
I got both - but if I had to decide between the two I would order the book because it has all the recipes, helpful information on how to get started, etc. THe DVD is great because she shows you how to make some things, but I only watched it once. I refer to her book often.

get both, for sure.
the dvd will make you drool, and happy to see how easy and how much variety there is. very exciting. i show it to any of my friends to get them started on raw enthusiasm.
the book, of course is the keeper of the recipes, which is of course essential.
all the best!

Yep, WHEN you can, definitely get both. But if you have to choose between the two and get only one for now, get the book first. The book gives you a plethora of info, inspiration as well as all the recipes. The dvd doesn't give the recipes, but it does show Alissa making many of her dishes right before your eyes and talking with two other women, answering all their questions about the raw dietary lifestyle.
So, if you can't get both at the same time, get the book now and then when you can, the dvd.

Thanks everyone! I just ordered the book from this website.
It must be pretty big, it cost $11 to ship. On ebay it shipping is much cheaper. But I dont have time to wait around to win an auction, I need this book now!!
I'm so excited!! I hope it gets here soon!!
