Well, a week has gone by since I started my raw lifestyle. I'm really happy with it! I don't think I am going through any major detox symptoms though, I was a little tired for the first 2 days. I overdid the fats a little today:

Breakfast: 1 WHOLE coconut! (I know, crazy!!!)

Snack: Banana, strawberries and cherries

Lunch: 3 tomatoes, 2 avocados (One large, one small)

Dinner: Green Smoothie (Collard Greens, Spinach, Banana, Frozen mixed Fruit)

I hiked two days this week and had a bellydance class...I'm not pushing exercise really hard. I'll save that for next week. :)

you're not experiencing any really uncomfortable detox symptoms.

Don't worry about the fat - raw fat is much different than cooked - plus what your body needs will vary from day to day.

Hi everyone:

I two am one week down but right now I am not feeling very well. I have been doing great until today. I have been eating fruit, salads and green smoothies up until today. Today I decided it was time to start making other things so I had the Stuffed Portabella and a salad for dinner. Everything was fine until about two hours after dinner and then it started. I have been feeling very sick to my stomach and feel like I am going to toss my cookies at any moment. Is this normal. I would have posted this but I do not know how to do it yet so I replyed to this post hoping to get some help!

Welcome to the beautiful world of Detox! This is when your body realizes that it's getting a lot of nutrients and wants to clean out its system. A lot of "toxins" that were sitting around are getting up and being rousted out, and that means they're going to go out fighting.
Just keep raw, drink a lot of water and green smoothies, and if you don't feel like eating then don't. Maybe it was something in the mushrooms too... were they fresh?
