I am going for a lymphatic drainage massage this afternoon. Apparently it is supposed to stimulate circulation and allow for lymphatic drainage. I was told to drink a lot of water after the massage. Has anyone else done this? Wondering if this is a good thing to pair with a colonic.

I used to do Lymph Drainage Massage at an Ayurvedic health center I used to work at and the massage was followed by an enema! So, I think you are on the right track. It is really crucial to drink plenty of water after.

BTW, you may feel like cr*p right after but the next day HOOOBABY you feel fantastic! Enjoy :D

I use to do that work and yes, lots of room temp water; you might add some lemon juice... a colonic would be a good thing AND, if you've got time/funds, you may even consider a mud/body wrap. (never done the last but, why not?)

Actually, it's funny seeing your thread. I was just at the dental office and was speaking with a woman there about exactly the same thing. She was starting with the mud-wrap. I suggest what I just suggested to you. I feel the mud would be least effective of the three.

Just a quick observation, it might be a good idea to do the mud wrap BEFORE the colonic. I've had several (colonics) and needed to be free to use the bathroom afterwards on a frequent basis. You don't want to be stuck in plastic wrap at that time LOL.

Mud wraps are FANTASTIC. I treat myself to the sea-algae mud wrap once a year on my birthday and I love it!

Thank you so much for all of your comments :)

Revvell, just want you to know that I absolutely adore your podcasts. I currently download Celebrating Your potential, Celebrating your potential with raw foods, and Rawkin Radio. I listen to them as part of my regular walking routine. I want to thank you for all of the amazing work you do! They serve as a daily "treat" and a good pick me up when I am feeling down.
