Hello for the first time in my life I am overweight, almost 40 and have severe back problems and have no relief but pain medication... I am looking for a life change, new foods, no coffe(this may take memory extraction) and no more smokes I hope!!!! I don't drink so that isnt an issue and I rarely eat red meat... love veggies so I am hoping this is going to be the way for me... I have done some reading today and am ready to hit the market tomorrow and change MY LIFE :D :D :)

YES YES YES,,, I would love one!!! I do love nuts also , now my BIG problem is going to be the coffee... I will have to have the cup surgically removed from my hand!!! Do send it on... do you need my email on here or can you access it from the site?? I am still a beginner and have not been all through it yet although I spent hours last night reading and not getting enough sleep... I am moved by all of this!!! and I started a notebook here at home with exactly what I have eaten starting this am and I excluded my easy to reach chocolate chip cookies that I have for my daughters.. I even discussed with them how I am going to eat and they are such fruit and veggie hounds it may be easier to do with them than I thought.

Dragonfly, after researching the raw lifestyle for a few months one day I decided to go 100% raw fullstop. I was doing a gallbladder cleanse and didn't feel well, which meant it was one of the few times I didn't feel like drinking my usual espresso. Impulsively I took my espresso machine + accessories + all the beans in my house and put them next to the dumpster with my pots and pans. [in my neighborhood that's the equivalent of donating stuff, everything was gone in an hour] I had a headache for three days, and then it was *done*, but if I'd had the machine I know I would have cheated. When the caffeine urge strikes I make very strong peppermint, rooibos, or cinnamon tea to warm up or a smoothie.

Christa

PS If you look there are usually either substitute foods or even better but different replacements for cooked favorites, including chocolate chip cookies!

so I am having for lunch, sliced carrots and raisins with some cored pinapple to go along with it.... it gives me the stuff I like and some sweet to go along.. I am a big water drinker except on weekends I drink coffee all day :(

Guess I am just going to have to spank my own hands because there are other coffee and tea drinkers in the house
