Being new to RAW I am really interested in how you plan for dinner guests. Please post some menus and recipes. My husband is not interested in 100% RAW and I am sure my friendes would not be either. But we do enjoy having friends in to eat with us. Give me some ideas, please!

One easy option is to serve pasta... one raw dish (with zucchini noodles) and sauce of choice... one with regular noodles.

Or... a spinach lasagna (raw)?

How about serving a nice gazpacho and tapenade stuffed mushrooms as a starter/appetizer and then letting others eat additional things - filling up in the soup yourself?

Raw deserts like cheesecake, apple pie, and fudge are great and I bet folks won't even notice the difference....

Do you actually have to serve raw food to your guests? If your husband is not going raw you will have to learn to serve raw and cooked at the same time anyway.
How about a large beautiful salad with a variety of greens, tomatoes, avocados, raw black olives, etc. for you and others to share, along with some grilled chicken and/or fish for your guests and your husband. Maybe some lightly grilled vegetables for them and a lovely raw dessert for all...

onion bread recipe - most people think its cooked & love it.
gazpacho - everyone loves that in the summer.
raw cheesecake for desert - tastes better than cooked cheesecake.

I have not ordered Alissas cook book but I have ordered a couple of others and I am sure I will see recipes for your suggestions. Sounds great. You give me hope. Pasta, I assume, must be made with a dehydrator? It seems I will be forced to investg in a dehydrator. Right?
