I did a quick search but did not see anything in Alissa's book or on here for a enchilada sauce...does anyone have one that don't mind sharing? Making enchiladas (in dehydrator) for my sis and nieces and nephew and I want a good sauce to drizzle over the top. I need something that doesn't require nuts also due to budgetary restraints:D ...I've used up my nut spending money for this week.
Thank You!

Yeah, I know she has a chili sauce (not sure if that's the same or not) but not an enchilada sauce.
Here is one I got from Maw in the Raw (http://mawintheraw.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html)
ENCHILADAS SAUCE
(Peggy Archuleta's originial recipe!)
2 red bell peppers cut up
2 garlic cloves
1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil)
1 avocado (to thicken it)
2 tsp. Braggs Aminos
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp raw cocoa
about 1/4 cup of water - watch to see how much you need.
(OR - Gina didn't put in the water. She put in 1 more avocado and said it was just like beans!)
Blend it all up in the blender until smooth.
Taste it if you need any salt.

Thanks RAWKS...wasn't even thinking about the chilli sauce recipe (looking at it now) as something that could go over the enchiladas.:o ....I'm going to try this one that you posted except minus the cocoa...don't think I have any....sounds like it would be zesty though
