Yum! I just made this Chocolate Turtle Pie.

Oops sorry, forgot to post it!
I just made this Chocolate Turtle Pie!
Crust
1/2 Dates (soaked)
3/4 C almonds (soaked)
3/4 C pecans (soaked)
1/4 C carob powder
Process crust ingredients in the FP then press onto a pie plate.
Middle Layer
1/2 C Dates (soaked)
1/4 C Maple syrup
3/4 C Brazil Nuts (soaked)
Process Middle layer ingredients in the FP and layer on the crust.
Frosting
1/2 C Coconut butter
1/2 C Dates (soaked)
1/4 C Carob powder
1/4 C Maple syrup
Process frosting ingredients in the FP and layer over the middle layer. Let set in the freezer for 1/2 hr then transfer to the fridge.

Can you use coconut oil? Where does one get coconut butter, and what's the difference?

Oh man that looks so yummy. I wish my computer screen were the piece of pie. Can't wait to try this one. Your eggplant burger one was awesome.

Hummmmmm...As long as the coconut oil is semi hard, not like olive oil etc. I used this one
