Feeling a bit lonely doing the raw food thing here in Glasgow - is there anyone on this board from near me? I sometimes feel like I'm the only one! (none of my friends are into raw, and there don't seem to be any raw food restaurants here yet either:( )
I did read another post from someone in Edinburgh saying they'd started a raw meet up group or something through there - sounds great! Anyone from Glasgow - or hereabouts - want to do a similar thing?
It would be great to make some raw food buddies a bit closer to home - though I just love chatting to all you guys from across the world too (isn't the net great for that? who knew my coconut fudge recipe would end up getting made in Hawaii - yes I mean you StarFire! Fantastic :D )

Hi, I am near glasgow, I was thinking the same thing I don't know anyone who eats raw near me so I feel a bit of an alien.

I think that you are the third Scot to join in a week so put Scotland in to the search function (the banana) and you will find them.
I am not too far away but a little far to just drop in for "tea".

Hi Blossom and Sport! Great to hear there are some more folks nearby into raw like me - most people I know eat so unhealthily and look at me like I'm a bit odd when I talk about liking spinach in my smoothies :D

Bump Bump! Maybe if we can find some more folks from glasgow or nearabouts we can arrange a meet up to chat about all things raw and wonderful! - anyone else out there?

I was raw off and on this spring, and I've been very much not raw since late May, but I've been feeling particularly gross, and I think it's about time for me to jump back in.
That's not really the point, though. The point is, I'm moving to Glasgow on Sept 5th to go to grad school, and I'm planning on being 100% raw from the moment I arrive. I'm working my way up to that this month.
When I do get to Glasgow, I would love to find some raw buddies to make a support group with (maybe even raw potlucks from time to time).
Let me know what you think!
