Hi...

Was wondering - I have never grown my own herbs before. Does it take alot of work - space? My kitchen has no windows in it? So is that a problem? Anyone, advice would be hugely appreciated!

take it breezy!:D

Herbs can be Grown outside in a pot, or in ANY window in a pot. They can also be grown in a small piece of land. If you buy a pack of seeds (don't use the full pack), sprout them and put them in potting soil, you should be fine. Making mistakes is how you learn.

I recommend not using the full pack of seeds because you can sprout a few now and save some for later. You can sprout a few seeds in a paper towel, keeping it misted with a spray water bottle.

Why not try a Salad Mix............

Depends on the herb. I've had good luck with some, not such good luck with others. Not much luck at all growing them indoors. I have a garden window but I think it gets too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter for herbs.

If you can't grow them outside and don't have a window, consider a Grow Light.

The herbs I've had the best luck with are chives, parsley, lavender and mint.
