Maybe instead of the soda and popcorn, you can have a fruit smoothie/or freshly squeezed orange juice and some pumpkin or sesame seeds or walnuts? That will give you some crunch and a sweet drink.

DUMP THE POPCORN! It's deadly stuff. My 3rd day raw, someone in the office made some and I had 3 peices. Waaaaahhh!! Go to the store and get nori. Dip it in shoyu... that'll kill the salt craving.

THANKS

but plenty of fruit right now, + eating tons of nuts.

Okay, maybe the pumpkin seeds could do it!!!! But none in house :(

Shoyu is actually Japanese for "soysauce" lol. So, Tamari, Nama Shoyu... these are just the raw-safe varieties. Braggs is kinds the raw equivalent to Mrs. Dash. It's a salt substitute. It has a very pleasant earthy taste but I don't recommend doing it straight. Do you have a snappy veggie? Like celery or zucchini? Maybe make a Braggs dip???

I think organic popcorn is a better sad food choice *imo* ,but why not be raw!!!!!!!

I agree ,get some nori and dulse -yummy,salty and "a mindless tv " treat unlike nuts or fruit....

When I want crunchy and salty,

I eat my own spicy almonds.

recipe:

soaked almonds (12 hours or more)
dehydrate to almost crisp
soak in braggs and spices
or sprinkle with salt and spices
dehydrate until crisp

then eat warm--yummmmmy!!!

These are wonderful, I use mexican seasoning, or italian, or fresh garlic and onion, whatever you like, add more salt than you think you will want.

also, toss the popcorn, or better yet, give it away.

What about corn? Warm corn on the cob with olive oil and salt? You could try dehydrating it to make it crunchy, perhaps. Yummmm....I love corn :)

SOUNDS good thanks. But I hear that Bragg is actually NOT raw,
and has been deceiving the raw community for years with false advertizing.

No, but I have seen these in the health food store as a snack product (along with dehydrated peas).

I sprouted buckwheat over the weekend then dehydrated them last night. They came out very crispy and I imagine would satisfy any salty/crunchy snack craving if you lightly salted them or added other seasonings.

After drying sprouted buckwheat, I pour over freshly made nut milk. It is delicious!
