Dehydrator Equipment

I have a cheap round dehydrator with a temperture guage, but I find it takes at least twice as long to dehydrate recipes. Am I using the wrong temperature? I never go higher than 120 degrees. But it takes for-evah!

Could be the temp gauge is inaccurate. Have you checked with another thermometer?
Also, I received a flyer from Excalibur and they say that's what happens with your type of dehydrator... takes longer. Not sure why that is though.
