I saw so many when I went to look for Nori! But some look so crunchy...do you soak them for a while? Thanks!

Dulse. Good for savory/salty cravings.

My fav that I always carry around in my backpack and just break off a chunk and just chew it is Kombu.
Also wakame - Alissa's wakame salad is very good!
Dulse flakes, kelp.
Spirulina which technically is not a sea veggie, but it is a blue/green algae.

The whole dulse is very soft.

I like Alaria. Wakame is in the alaria family, but it is wide and broken into fringes, which makes it hard to pick through the whole thing looking for shells.

Yes I soak it first, and remove the snails and crustaceans.

I need to check if these are Raw, but a local health food store has crunchy pieces of seaweed that are great. Otherwise, all I seem to be doing is putting strips of Nori into my salads.

I use Salicornia.
Does that qualify as a sea veg even though I think that it groes on the shoreline.
