Hi I posted yesterday and am convinced I am detoxing, today is the 7th day raw. My lymph glands ache, I have a headache and a high fever, sore joints, low energy. How long does this last? Advice on how to cope...make the whole thing less painful? I suppose my sins are coming back to haunt me with a vengance. Any advice welcome!

Oh, I am so sorry you are hurting, but I am so happy you are detoxing.

What really helped me was, of course lots of rest, lots of water, and fruit juice, someone mentioned cantaloup and cantaloup juice to help relieve symptons of the flu or a cold, and a sauna really helps, if you have access, if not, try to sit in front of a really warm heater, and allow yourself to sweat out your toxins.

The number one way to release toxins, is dry sauna, and drinking lots of water, this is the fastest way, and the most pleasant, Victoria Boutenko taught me this in her classes.

Good luck

I will have to agree, stay hydrated every hour (perhaps lemon water) and rest as you r body neeeds the energy to rid the toxins. Make sure BM's are happenin :p as the toxins and such need to expel thru colon as it does skin and yurin as well.

Please keep us posted!

Good advice so far. Might I add, skin brushing and hot/cold showers. How you do that is, after the skin brushing, get in the shower as hot as you can stand it. Make sure all of you from the top of your head, under your arms, everything gets wet. Then turn OFF the hot and go for the cold. Let yourself shiver, shake, scream, cry, whatever (IF you don't enjoy cold water). Same thing, top of your head, down the spine, under your arms, then, turn down the cold, turn up the heat. Do minimum 10 rounds. You'll be amazed at what happens.

Oh! Enemas are pretty good about this time also. I'd do them before the shower. About 7-8 times should do it. :)

Happy detox!!

Injoy ~

Thank you all so much for the great advice.
I'm going to give it a try.
One question though...how long does it take before I'll feel better?

*shrugs* Hard to tell. Could be today/tomorrow, a week; possibly two. I'm guessing, if it is detox, a week or less.

Injoy ~
