Raw and eye health-glaucoma

I searched for glaucoma with the banana-but the only thing that seemed to come up was a link for caffeine and glaucoma.

Does anyone on here have glaucoma and been off medicine due to a raw diet-I would love to hear about your story!!

I wouled like to know what to do for increasing eye pressure.

Wish I had a pat answer for you at this time. Glaucoma runs in my family, and my pressure has been borderline high for the last two years (pre-raw). I am long overdue for another check-up, so will definitely let you know if it has helped me. ~ Cathy

Just had my eyes checked, and my eye pressure is below 21mnHg for the first time in years!! No meds, just raw ~ Cathy

Glaucoma also runs in my family, my dad had it for about 30 years.

I've done a lot of research (natural means) that my brother and I can do to prevent us from getting it and eating a lot of leafy greens is the only thing that comes up consistently. That is also the case for macular degeneration which my mom has.

So those GREEN smoothies are a daily thing for me, at least 1 quart!

I have read where aerobic exercise will decrease eye pressure also.
