View Full Version : Can someone look at my menu & just see if adjustments need to be made

or if you might have any other suggestions?

I'm feeling great & healthy. I have a ton of energy. I'm sleeping a lot less. I just want to be sure that what I'm eating/drinking looks okay.

5 bananas
2 avocados
2 plums
1 cup strawberries
HUGE salad consisting of spinach, green pepper, cucumber, avocado (haven't done my big grocery shopping yet but usually I'll also have celery, carrots, tomatoes, radishes, jicama, etc. in my salad) with 2 TBSP Olive Oil
2 handfuls of nuts
Soaked dates (around 4 yesterday)
Around 128 oz of purified water (half of it lemon water) - I've been really thirsty lately

I made a green smoothie in the morning yesterday (around 24 oz).

Walked for 45 minutes yesterday.

I stopped eating around 5:45 last night because I just wasn't hungry anymore. Thirsty, yes. But not hungry.

It looks like you are doing great! Your diet looks balanced to me. How do you feel? If your worried about weight loss forget about it and it will happen. You know what they say about a watched pot?

Oh yeah. It looks, sounds yummy and healthy. Listen to your body. You will know when it needs something else. Good job!!!

You feel good are energized and getting planty of sleep. I think the results speak for themselves.:D

Thank you so much for all the quick responses!

I'm not really worried about weight loss. Yeah. Technically, I could weigh less since I am short (5'1) but if I'm meant to weigh less, it will just happen in its own time.

However, I was more curious than anything the other day & just had to see what the numbers on the scale said - and I had dropped 2 lbs in 2 days (last time I checked, I was 122 but I haven't been on the scale since then-no need) I guess I was just amazed more than anything. I am eating upwards of 2000 calories a day now - feeling great & healthy & still getting slim. That still amazes me! But it's proof that raw RAWKS!

***sigh*** So why won't my friends - who are still struggling with health issues in their lives - listen to me?!!???!!! Oh well. They'll come around in their own time.
