I have been doing my research and I really feel that doing a fast and then transitioning into a raw foods lifestyle will be beneficial to me.
Want I want to get advice if you think the plan I have layed out for myself will be successful and what changes you might reccomend.
I want to do the detox by Blessed Herbs (http://www.blessedherbs.com/Internal-Cleansing/Cleansing-Kits/the-Internal-Cleansing-Kit-H-3703.htm). Has anyone done this? Do you know it it's a juice based fast or if there is no food involved at all? Perhaps you will just reccomend something else entirely.
I want to include weekly colinics for a month and I am going to take pilates.
After this one month I will transition to raw foods lifestyle and continue to take pilates / work out at the gym

Hey there!!! Welcome! I personally did not do any fasting, colonics or other methods other then jumping into 100% raw. But you need to choose what YOU feel comfortable with. Do your research, which sounds like you have and then see about fasting and colonics. Don't make this too crazy/complicated or you will quit. To me just eating raw came naturally and I didn't feel the need to do otherwise. But everyone is different.
Pilates are very complimentary to a raw diet.

Thanks for the support :) I personally feel that I need to do the fast / cleanse first in order to get my body processing food right. Some one say that the raw foods will do the cleanse for you, but I say the more the better

Hi,
I've been on and off the raw food wagon for a year. I find that doing a cleanse or fast jump starts my effort. It works for me. I've done the master cleanse, water fast, and green smoothie cleanse. The master cleanse is frowned upon by some but it works for me. The first time I did it, I went raw and stayed raw for 3 months. I'm doing the MC right now - I swear this time I'm sticking to my guns and staying raw! It's so worth it but I have stress issues that overwhelm my eating choices at times.
Anyway, some people don't feel the need to cleanse/fast. But I like to. It helps me feel like I'm starting at square one instead of digging myself out of a hole. I spend my cleansing time reading, getting excited about raw food, planning breaking the fast and future meals/grocery lists. The cleansing time is a really feel good time for me and I get myself all pumped up for raw food.
BTW, the master cleanse works for me but sometimes I need something milder. That's when I do the green smoothie cleanse. It's great, too. Within 3 days I gain the benefits of raw food you have to wait weeks for (soft skin, increase in energy, etc). I recommend the green smoothie cleanse with no reservations.
