and I am so happy and grateful that we are able to resume this...
SO!
Let's get started allready!
I will post some of the "old" and initial info whenever I get the time, and in the meantime I encourage ALL PULLERS to hop onboard on this new and luxurious cruise...

Glad it's back. One question, I've tried it about 4 times but the oil never seems to turn white...even after 20 minutes??? But my dh thinks my teeth look whiter.
hm...that's peculiar?
which oil do you use?
some oils don't turn completely white but rather light yellow (sunflowe, olive, safflower)

ps. but no matter what, I'd keep doing it:D

Thanks for starting this. I've slacked off, so this'll inspire me to start again. Do any of you oil pull only once a day? Sometimes I either forget or only have time once a day.

I picked up some sesame oil today, that's alright to use, right? I had in my mind sunflower, and then my mind just changed it to sesame and when I got back from the store I said to myself "Oh, right, it was sunflower!"
But I think I remember reading that sesame is alright too. I got the refined kind.

I'm using organic sesame oil. After just a few days, like I posted before, the deep, deep cracks in my heels are gone! There's still a bit of roughness, but the difference is amazing. Also, one of my eye teeth has always been a bit different in color after having braces. It's now the same color as the rest of my teeth, which are now very white.
Alba, I was reading about people who have experienced symptoms of past illnesses coming back and then leaving their body while oil pulling. The other morning I woke up with a fever, swollen glands and I was exhausted. I just recently got over mono. I drank tons of water and ate mostly fruit. The next day, I felt 100 times better, as if something had left the building.
:)
Thanks for reinstating this thread!

I don't know if it's just your avatar pic, but you remind me of Tea Leoni. :)
Thank everyone for posting again! Lovely to see you all!
and RawVee (love your name btw) that is very common! Glad to hear you feel better!
Beppa66: Olive oil stays completely yellow for me...maybe you dh is so "SAD" that even Olive Oil will turn white? Í bet if you tried sesame or coconut oIl it'd be white...
but Olive oil is fine for now:)

I am so happy this thread is back. I really missed it. I was going gung ho on the oil pulling. I was extremely happy with the results. I was using cold pressed sesame oil. The problem came when I ran out of oil. :-( The store I bought it from was out of it for about 3 whole weeks. I didn't find any of the oils mentioned, in the cold pressed variety, so I went with out. What I have noticed is that my very smooth heels slowly returned to the rough, cracks that I began with (though not as bad). So I just purchased another bottle so I am going to begin again tomorrow.
I had such amazing results with just one time a day, I just might try to do a second time perhaps at bed time.
I know the article in the link you so graciously provided (Alba), mentions 3 cold pressed oils,
sesame, coconut, and the 3rd one escapes me for now. The fact that others use other oils and are getting benefits, I find amazing. I just am wondering why all of them seem to be helping. hmmm
I just can't say enough good about oil pulling. It did change my attitude about my smile. :-D

I would love a list of oils, even brands. Some of the info I've read about Op stresses that the oil chioce is vital. I used raw coconut oil, but ran out of it. It's a bit pricey, so I'd like to know if there is any others (less expensive) that I could use.
I'd love to join the challenge again!

Absolutely ~ POSITIVELY ~ WONDERFULLY BLESSED by oil pulling... thank you so much Alba -- you are such a gift to us!
I started oil pulling just a few days ago - using organic extra virgin coconut oil. Immediately - my teeth were whiter - the brown stains in between my teeth from so many years of smoking - were gone after one oil pulling session!
I am so blessed and happy... I keep checking my teeth in every different kind of light and even outside in the sunlight - just to make sure I'm not seeing things!! They are continually getting whiter and whiter... and prettier!!
Seriously - it's been I think - what - 3 days?? (I do it every morning and every night b4 bed...)
THEN -- GET THIS - YESTERDAY -- my gf asked me which dentist I went to -- to get my teeth whitened.... because she was thinking of going and getting it done too!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?? :D omg!! that is so cool!!
so I took her to my house and showed her my coconut oil and said - here's the dentist.... teheeeeee!!! and -- sadly she won't try it cuz she said that's nuts. oookayyyy.....
also - the second day of oil pulling I developed a ulcer? inside my mouth (or what is that a cancker sore??) it hurt - but every time I did the oil pulling it would stop hurting for about 2 hours, today it's almost gone. (maybe it was pulling something out of my body??
the other thing - I noticed some congestion - phelm in my throat seems to be working it's way out of me...
all in three days of oil pulling... amazing!
Yep... I'm a lifer on this one!
maybe beppa - you're not 'swishing' hard enough... I'm swishing really hard and my whole mouth is tired and my cheeks are sore by the time I'm done! Or maybe I'm doing it too hard??

According to all I've read on it;
Cold pressed, Seasme, Sunflower & Coconut oils are "mainly" suggested. After it is in the mouth start "rinsing or swishing" motions and as Dr Karach puts it; sip, suck and pull through the teeth for fifteen to twenty minutes. This process makes oil thoroughly mixed with saliva. Swishing activates the enzymes and the enzymes draw toxins out of the blood. The oil must not be swallowed, for it has become toxic. If the oil is still yellow, it has not been pulled long enough. Then you spit it out and rinse with celtic sea salt water. The entire mouth must be thoroughly rinsed and your mouth will feel thoroughly clean.
This is what I have gotten out of all the articles I've read. I just know it really really has worked for me and I love, love, love it!!!
Anyone that has more questions should google it and you will see a world of info on this great subject.
(Thanks Alba!)

I did it for the first time a couple of days ago with EVCO and I swear as soon as I spat it out and rinsed my mouth my throat felt SO SORE!!! Then out of nowhere I started to feel nasal congestion. Could it be the pulling? Even though I felt rough it was pretty exciting to think that I was detoxing from something SO simple!! I am gonna do it again in a minute. I am making a note of how I feel right now then see what happens afterwards!! :D :D

A very welcome surprise! Tried it for the very first time this morning, and my usual morning nasal congestion cleared right up after pulling - I am very impressed! More to come later ~ Cathy
Jeannieh99 what a great explenation. Oil Pulling is really very simple - just as Jeannieh explained it! 1 tbs (or less if it feels uncomfortable) of coldpressed/expellerpressed coconut/hemp/sesame/safflower/sunflower oil in the mouth --> swish for 20 minutes (careful not to swallow), spit it out in the toilet, rinse with saltwater and brush teeth.
easy peasy. :)
Sunshine9: I'd say my KP has reduced by 70% percent. it is almost not bumpy anymore - just marks (which are rapidly fading:D )
Little Mango: that is definetly a sign that something bad is leaving the building!
Lafsalot: that's wonderful!

Ok, I did it again this morning (& swished extra hard for you starfire) but still green. I'm a freak I tell ya! However, my elbows are soft as can be, more swishing required for heels. And my gums are healthier and no longer bleed when I floss too hard. So something is working even without it turning white???

Thanks Alba for starting a new thread...I LOVE oil pulling...I have several SAD friends doing it and they're seeing results, too...as in white teeth...
I do see my heels being softer and I don't know if it's my imagination but the wrinkles around my eyes seem smoother....
Starfire...same thing happened to me...my aunt asked me about my white teeth after she told me about paying $275 for a whitening kit from the dentist that burned the skin off the inside of her mouth and for over two weeks could hardly close her mouth she was in so much pain...I explained the concept of oil pulling and she was like, 'oh, that doesn't set right with me'...HUH!??? Let's see, burning the inside of her mouth set's right but oil pulling doesn't...oh well, I do have many people trying it when they see how white my teeth are...
At first I kept looking in the mirror to see if I was really seeing what I was seeing....YUP!!...They're white....
At first I did it 3 times a day...now I'm doing it once but think I'll get back into the 3 times...I like the way I feel after....
Have a great day, love, Elaine

I love oil pulling! My sesame oil bottle is almost done though. :( I need to get myself some more this week-end! I love week-ends! :) I might just go for a run and buy some at the organic store, it seems to work better for me.
I am going to do some oil pulling with coconut oil, since that's what I have handy right now. I love how coconut oil is SO useful and versatile! I use it on my heels (I have this weird hole that I've had for years and its finally healing now), in my cheesecake/frudge, for oil pulling... it's so amazing! Go raw coconut oil, go! :)
Thanks for keeping this thread going, oil pulling is really amazing!

I've got some oil swishing around in my mouth right now! It's a little hard to get used to the oil taste!
It took me about 5 minutes just to get the courage just to put the oil in my mouth.
But I thought about all of the benefits of oil pulling and went for it......
Ugh! I almost spit it back up into the toilet! But Here I am and it's been about 7 minutes and it doesn't so much taste like the oil anymore because of all of my saliva
Swish swish swish! Just a little while more..... :D

I've oil pulled in the past with the only results being my mouth feel really clean, but swishing anything around in your mouth for 20 minutes is going to clean it.
Regarding it turning white, it is just the swishing that does that. That has nothing to do with the toxins you're pulling*. Think of mayonnaise, or any other oil-based food or thing, when you blend it up, it froths.
*I don't know if it really does pull toxins or if it's a crock. I'm not saying one way or the other, to clarify. Just explaining some things that are being attributed incorrectly to other things. I say if it works for you, that's all that matters.

I am interested in this but...the thought of swishing oil around my mouth for so long has me wanting to gag :( How do you get by the gag reflex? Did anyone struggle with that?
moonstar
07-25-2007, 08:41 AM
...giving this OP thing a try....
domestic goddess: I would expect to have that problem, but I don't. It also gets easier and more natural every time I do it. I remember the first time I did it, I was begging the clock to move a little faster, and it would hardly move at all. Now it's no big thing. It also starts to mix with saliva pretty quickly so it doesn't really taste that oily after a few minutes.
That reminds me... sometimes I end up doing it for an hour just because I'm working and I'm not yet at a stopping point. Does anyone know if that's bad?
AND, WOW, when I don't do it for a few days, my skin seems to get back into its old tricks. Then I do it again and see changes within a day. :D I have got to keep this as a habit!
AND, I'm noticing that this makes me want to brush my teeth more and better. The teeth whitening thing does happen big time, but I think it must be because of the combo of loosening bad stuff and then brushing.
Does anyone else floss first?? My routine has been
-floss (I'm crazy about making sure I floss at least twice every day. My teeth are all close together... which means food gets really wedged in there if I'm not careful!)
-then OP for 20-60 min... longer in the morning only because I'm working. I can feel the stuff from flossing mixed in! Ewww
-then rinse with a small amount of vinegar and a full cup of water for about 8-10 rinses
-then brush for 3 minutes.
Wowee, my teeth are so amazingly clean on the days I do this!

Can anyone tell me - when you do the oil pulling in the morning (or evening) are you supposed to brush your teeth first, or do you just get up and to the oil swishing thing straight off?
Thanks y'all!
Hey Bambot... You can look at my routine in the last post. If you're not a flosser or prefer to rinse with saltwater, those things would be different. But definitely swish then brush.

codajess

I don't have a problem with gagging on it. Your tongue should be against the back roof of your mouth so the oil is staying up in your teeth area, not back where your throat is. You aren't gargling it, just swishing it around in your teeth.
I do mine while I shower.

Oooh I did my 'first' oil pull last night (well I did try it jsut the one time before, but not for ages and ages) using coconut oil - after the first 5 mins I didn't find it hard, and at the end of the 20 mins I could've gone for another 5!
And honestly, I could notice my teeth were whiter after that one try! Then this morning I stepped on the scales (I haven't really lost any weight since going raw) and I'd lost nearly 3 pounds! :)
Now I'm not saying I think that OP-ing will make you just drop weight overnight - that wouldn't be healthy. BUT I've been retaining alot of water (detox symptom I think) since going raw, and had been feeling really heavy - well I think the OP-ing helped release that, and supported my liver to help the detox process
Definitely going to keep this up!
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah! (does little jump for joy!) :D

Weird. I have been holding at the same weight for the past 2.5 weeks. I did the oil pulling for the first time yesterday. When I stepped on the scale this morning I was shocked to see that I had lost over 2 pounds. It did not occur to me that there was a connection until I read Bampot's post. Could there be?

I've heard in the past that if your body is over toxic it makes it difficult for you to lose weight.
I've been doing oil pulling for 5 days and this morning i noticed that i've lost 4 pounds.
No before i started "oil pulling" the weightloss was a struggle and no matter what i would do the scales would not budge.
Also my gums at the bottom are looking much healthier and no more pain in that area.
I feel a little lighter than before i started "oil pulling", i'm excited and want to continue and see what else is going to happen:)

Wow Guys!
This is so COOL! I've read some testimonies on other sites about people losing weight - so there might be something to it!

Hi everyone!
I've been OPing every morning! My teeth are so pearly white :D
Question--Do you ever have to release mucous when OPing? Right in the middle of my OPing, my nose starts to release mucous and I have no choice but to swallow it :/ I know it will come back up late on, but eww so gross to swallow it!

I have to say I'm kind of disappointed in oil pulling so far. I've been doing it faithfully for 11 days, every morning for 20 minutes. Maybe it's because I haven't been doing it a second time every day? I just can't go four hours without eating, so I haven't been doing it. I totally could do it at night, though, when I'm watching a movie - but it would be like 1 hour or so after I'd eaten so I don't know if it would even be productive.
I have noticed no changes at all! My teeth aren't any whiter, my skin is definitely not softer, especially my heels where I was really hoping it would help; if anything, they're more cracked than they were before, deep cracks.
I'm using sunflower seed oil, cold pressed & organic. I'm tempted to just give up because it is kind of a pain not talking for 20 min. with five little ones clamoring for my attention in the morning. But I really want to give it an honest shot so I'm going to do 30 days, then see how it goes.
Any suggestions? Anyone else have slow results?

OK, I tried it. It took me 2 tries the first time but I was able to do it for 15 mins! Even my hubby did it with me so I would do it, lol. I have to say...I kinda like it! I did it last night and this morning and a headache I had went away and the cold I have been battling for 2 weeks is FINALLY going away! Coincidence? Maybe...;)
I'm hooked :D

I read that sesame seed oil is one of the best and then coconut oil is good but when i started with the sesame seed oil i really started seeing changes.
I did the coconut oil first and i liked it, it was a bit heavy, the sesame seed oil is thinner i think.
My teeth were really yellow and then yesterday i noticed that the yellow tint was going away. This morning they are getting whiter and my gums do hurt anymore.
I will stay with oil pulling, i love it, i can't wait until it's time to do it again:D

So how is everyone NOW?
seeing as a year has gone by....
SherahTaylor I am sorry you are not seeing the results you expected (or I expected you to have:p ).. and I can't really think of what it could be?
I do recomend one thing though - I definetly feel that sesame and coconut oil are the most powerful oils and these are the ones I use atm. Maybe switching w. one of those will help?

I wake up and my mouth is not dry and sticky anymore and i've noticed my skin looks moist, i use to have dry skin but not anymore.
My joints are getting less stiff and getting up from a sitting position is not difficult.
I can stay and walk longer without getting tired:) .
Also the abscess is still getting smaller and my gums don't ache anymore, teeth getting whiter also.
I wake up every morning looking for changing in my body now:)
This is so exciting, when my husband forgets to OP i remind him and get the spoon and the oil for him:)
I don't want to be the only one in the house who is seeing the benefits.

im thinking i should try this again.... ive tried to start this on two different occasions, each time only lasting a few days....... the first time around i tried it with coconut oil and i really didnt feel any results, it didnt even turn white. anyways a while later i decided to give it another go and i picked up organic sesame oil, which luckily i more or less enjoy the taste of, and it DID turn white which was exciting to see. i didnt notice any results at all, not even whiter teeth, but maybe i need to give it more of a chance.. like the "30 day raw challenge"-- the "30 day OP challenge", lol.
thing is the past week/2weeks ive had really sensitive teeth, just two in the back, and they are looking white, strangely white down near the gum line where they hurt. im worried because ive always had such healthy teeth, my dentist loves me. also ive noticed that around my bottom front teeth, the gum seems to be receding. i had a hunch this could be due to acidic saliva from detox (10 weeks raw) and yesterday i bought some PH strips, and i measured my PH level in my saliva this morning and it was like 5.8 or something  wayyyy too acidic, isnt 7 neutral??
im trying to swish after meals, and clean my teeth well but its not really helping.
could oil pulling help with this? or would it make the saliva more acidic (maybe temporarily) because it causes more detox?
I definetly think it could help - it seems a lot of people have had success with less sensitive teeth!
That being said - are you eating a lot of fruit?
When I first went raw I ate tons of fruit and my teeth got hyper sensitive!
After cutting down on fruit they went back to normal.
?
Just a thought :)

I had run out of my sesame oil and I was so sad I couldn't OP! So now I got myself a new bottle of sunflower oil and I'm ready to go again woohoo!
What I've noticed so far:
-Smooooooth heels. This is a big one for me, since I have this part of my heal which has little holes in it and it is totally healing up now!
-Whiter teeth: especially if I OP using coconut oil
-I think this may be a combination of things, but I got my period for the first time after a year (after stopping the pill) exactly 2 days after I started OP-ing. I was also taking chinese hebrs, but OPing has some chinese background, so I think everything was working together to make it happen!
-It keeps me focused on my teeth. I love brushing my teeth and it feels good to be clean. :)
OPing just feels natural now! Sometimes I forget to do it, but I feel much better if I do it on a regular basis. Amen for all of these amazing raw oils and their healing powers!

a couple of Qs..
what happens if you OP on a full stomach?
and
how long between meals do you need to wait before you can OP again? until your tummy grumbles?
edit: one more Q.... can you OP if you have water in your belly?

What a cool thread. I have very deep cracks in both my heels, so deep that I have started picking at them, and they peel. Gross! Never heard before that oil pulling could help.
I have extra virgin olive oil. Would that be okay to use? Should probably review how exactly to OP, but I would definitely like to try it! Especially because one of the things that keeps me from going 100% raw are the detox symptoms that never really seem to go away . . .

so i just OP'd before lunch, REALLY swished it
when i spat it out it looked like a glass of milk!
also i noticed while OPing that my teeth, the two that have been hurting were aching a bit... felt a bunch of other stuff, too, a little dizzy and hot, and a pain around my left eye (im trying not to hope that its a correlation to the fact that my left eye is the near-sighted one while my right is better than 20/20. im really hoping raw will help out my left eye)
anyways i spat it out, swished with sea salt water, and then brushed with baking soda. then i poked my tooth at the back (which usually sends shooting pains down) and there was nothing! it didnt hurt! it still looked a little strangely-white near the gum but ohhh my goodness! that is so miraculous. also, my teeth DO look whiter. WHY DID THIS NEVER HAPPEN BEFORE??!!
anyways i came here to type this and i poked my tooth again and some sensitivity has come back, although not as bad as before. but it makes sense that it would take a few sessions. either way, im going to be doing this more to see if i continue to get improvements... 1-3X a day i think.
also, i checked my salivas PH afterwards, and it had gone wayyy up to 8.0. from 5.8!!!
so, well, i have to admit i was surprised that it actually did something... but SOMETHINGS going on there. ill let you know how it goes.
ps & if anyone has answers to my Qs up there thatd be fab :)

Since i started "oil pulling" 9 days ago, no more pain and no more dreams of losing my teeth:)
I am so happy with oil pulling and today i noticed that my teeth alignment is better, they had seemed crooked at times like they have drifted over or something.
I have an overall good feeling in my body, last night i felt bad almost jittery and somewhat dizzy but when i woke up this morning no toxic feeling in my body and my bowels are beginning to move easily without diet tea or laxative tea:)
I don't know if oil pulling works for everyone that does it but it works for ME!

I've been oil pulling for 9 days now and i just noticed the difference.
It's been over 24 years since i've had two injuries one where i hit my nose and cut it, it was a bump there and a cut under my eye where it caused a raised place, it wasn't discolored or anything and my husband wasn't concerned but being a woman we notice things like that.
Well it had always bothered me and i just thought they would be there forever, maybe fade over time but they are disappearing:D :D
I can hardly believe it the raised bump has gone down so much i can hardly notice it and the bump on my nose has gotten much smaller.
I love raw and oil pulling can't wait to see what goes away next:) i will pay more attention to my body from now on.

Ok - this is interesting.
I have been studying herbalism for a few years and there is something similar in many ayurvedic texts but it has a different name. basically you swish sesame oil just as here, or you massage sesame or coconut oil into the teeth and gums as you would brush your teeth, then rinse and spit as you woudl tooth brushing.
I used to chew sesame seeds first thing in the morning, but I think I like this better for my gum issues. I will tell my brother and friends who have gum issues the same thing.
thanks for this thread - I have been wondering what this was...

from my reading, sesame oil is very high in calcium and minerals and also has several antioxidants among its therapeutic properties - so it makes sense that the teeth and gums are being healed. Sesame is also very moisturizing and nourishing to the body -- both inside and out...
Looks like the site endorses sunflower and sesame oil only, but no other ones, maybe coconut and sesame could be blended? I would think that it would be effective but its not liquid at room temp, though.
I tryed the coconut oil first but when i tryed the sesame oil that's when i started seeing the changes.

Hi all. I tried the oil pulling this morning for 15 minutes and when I spit it into the toilet the oil was still a bit yellow. I guess I should do it for 20 minutes and swish more. Made me want a salad though with that sesame oil in my mouth. :)

Hi everyone,
Just tried the oil pulling last night because well, I am a skeptic and I have to have proof before I start a regimen of anything. I am not an easy sell, that’s for sure. Last night I weighed myself just to be able to wake up and say ah ha….it does not work!
Unfortunately, I am not able to say that because I went from 206 to 203 lbs. Very strange! I usually don't get these kind of results unless I am fasting which I am not just yet.
Can't wait to see what else happens.

08-01-2007, 11:31 AM
i just finished OP this morning... unfortunately i only got it done once yesterday, when i was hoping for 2-3. oh well!
touching my tooth now it does not hurt (!) but i think the pain might come back again as it did before... i have a feeling this is a bit of a back and forth process, but that eventually itll be fixed! i have to say the creepy unhealthy looking white near the gum line on the affected teeth is definitely mellowing.
im also not getting plaque anymore! my teeth are a lot cleaner and thats a benefit right there. i still have the problem of my saliva being verrrrry acidic (dunno what else to do about THAT, i guess its just part of the detox process?!?) so i have to be so careful about keeping my mouth as alkaline as possible. hmm. its a constant job of swishing and brushing. i just keep telling myself its only a temp. condition. :o
okoroline.... that does make sense, maybe thats why i felt sesame was working more, b/c of the calcium content. b/c even if the oil draws OUT the toxins, doesnt it make sense that our bodies would first draw IN the benefits of the oil, before the oil turns toxic??? anyways thanks for the info okoroline, that was interesting :)
have a good day, all. my goal is at least once more today!
oh, and i have another Q.... after you spit at 20 minutes (mine is always soooo white) could you swish, grab another TBSP and do it right again? or might that be overload?

I love cayenne pepper on almost everything.
When i use it on my teeth and gums i just put some in the palm of my hand and dip a damp toothbrush in it and brush it on my gums and then my teeth and leave it on for about 5 min and rinse and then brush my teeth.
The feeling is great so warm and tingling:) .
I had read somewhere that it gets the teeth from rotting and breaking off, i know it helps my gums, the circulation of them.
Hope you enjoy it as much as i do:)

hi everyone,
i OPed with expeller pressed sunflower oil that I got from wild oats. after only 2 minutes, i had to spit it out cuz my sister was trying to talk to me. but when i spit it out it was already a creamy white. does this mean that my body is really toxic? also, does it also mean that i don't really have to OP for 10-20 minutes?

hmm, so im still going strong, did it twice yesterday and have once so far, this morning. confused about whether or not im really getting results? sometimes right afterwards my teeth almost dont hurt anymore, when poked, but like right now, they hurt a LOT if i poke them, its like the pain is coming back and forth.
my teeth ARE nice &white and feel clean, but i duno how much to contribute to OP??? b/c ive also started brushing with baking soda, &hydrogen peroxide, and i know that thats supposed to whiten your teeth as well.
im going to keep on with the OP b/c i made a sort of a challenge to myself, in case im one of those people it takes longer to see results in. its not difficult or anything... i just wish i could be sure i was getting results.

i ate a bunch of dried fruit yesterday which i know i shouldnt be doing with my teeth hurting... they ACHED afterwards, :( it is so odd, & a bit frusterating, when i OP, right afterwards the pain is virtually GONE, but it always comes back, and while its nice to know that the OP temporarily can make it feel better.... i want it HEALED ! :o over and done with!
just keep on, right?

I want to mention that if I stopped OP for a few days, my BM also stopped. Mind you, I had problem with BM even on an all-veg-and-fruit diet before I ever started OP; My system had always been very stubborn. Since the first day I started OP in July, I've been going everyday. But at one point I stopped OP because I did not see the hopeful results for my skins (KP) or my teeth (whitening), my BM also stopped. I'm now OP'ing faithfully every morning for my BM. Has anybody experienced/noticed the same thing?

Hubby and I are still OP'ing and loving the results. Starting to see whiter teeth. Skin feels a little moister.

With sunflower oil, and I had mediocre results. I felt a weird pain in my kidney area while I was OPing, but that was about it. And the taste was awful.
Today, I got some cold pressed organic extra virgin coconut oil and just now tried OPing (I had to microwave it for a few seconds, but since medium heat melts it, it liquified quickly without getting warm). I felt that weird pain in my flanks (kidney area) again and when I was finished, I went into the bathroom and was amazed by my teeth! I came downstairs and flashed them to my hubby who said, "your teeth look shinier or something." I told him about OPing and now he is in the living room OPing with coconut oil as we speak.
I am going to keep this up and let everyone know how it goes.

We started with coconut oil, then sesame seed oil and now sunflower oil.
I've been looking in my mirror to see anymore changes in my skin and my teeth, well i'm shocked, i had small cavaties inbetween my front teeth not too bad but you could see several dark shadows there.
I just finished looking at my teeth and those dark shadows between my teeth are gone and my teeth look whiter and straighter:D
Who says i need to go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned:D :D i'll save that money and no cavaties, WOW this is a GREAT!!!!!
My skin is looking more alive and healthier than before i started doing o.p.
Has anyone experienced any changes in their weight?
I'm still looking for that one.

hmm... well im still OP but trying not to feel discouraged. my teeth are still hurting, those two at the back, and are at the point actually where now it hurts to brush them, whereas before i had to poke them directly. &im starting to get a really sore spot on my gum line on the opposite site that REALLY hurts to brush. im not seeing results in my skin, not even my elbows or heels or anything.. its not making my teeth that white, and although im sure this is unrelated it seems as if im GAINING weight.
NO idea what to do! ill keep trying it b/c i wanted to try it for a month to giv eit a good chance.
i hope im just a late bloomer or something, i want so much for this to help my teeth.

I considered that later. This morning, I ended up just taking a spoon of the "solid" oil and tossing it in my mouth. It pretty much liquified immediately. I wasn't thinking earlier. Yes, the microwave is baaaaaaaaaad.

I talked to my sister-in-law about micowaves and she finally got it through her head that they can destroy brain cells and damage other cells in the body, she took her's and cut the cord into tiny pieces and threw it away.
She was having memory lapses and i'm so glad she did.
They are EVIL and can destroy the body.

My lastes report is that the alignment of my teeth keeps getting better, when i put my teeth together and move them side to side the shifting is smooth. My teeth seem to be lined up correctly if that makes any sense.
It seemed with the bad food i had eaten for so long my teeth didn't match up, now when i smile they look beautiful.
I had 3 small cavaties in the front and they are filling in:D i'm amazed and so overjoyed, no dental bills in my future.

Hi everyone!
Nice to be back to check up on all of you! Are you seeing any results yet Aililu?
I just want to share this OP story:
I've been experimenting a little - I wanted to see what would happen if i *gasp!* quit OP'ing for a few days...just curious if I would feel any major changes.
Well, I did.
but one I hadn't expected: I got major cravings for something sweet!! I mean - reaaaaally bad. I had almost forgot how much it bothered me before OP'ing - and it just came right back! Also; I didn't fall asleep as quickly as I have gotten used to (it took me an hour:eek: ) so I am happy to be back to OP'ing:D

Hi everyone! I just started oil pulling a few days ago, but am determined to at least give it the old college try! One question, which do you all prefer as far as taste goes....I mean, I know neither sesame or sunflower oil will taste GOOD, but which has the mellower taste? I started with sesame oil (just some I had left over), and now am going to buy a fresh bottle, so I was just curious as to which I should get. Also, I noticed that some people use coconut oil......on the oil pulling website, they only suggest sunflower and sesame....is it okay to use others? Anyway, I'm sure I'll have more questions later, but this is it for now!! Thank you!
Okay, an hour ago I read about oil pulling in another thread, wondered what it was and googled it up. Then I searched here and found this.
I'm curious!!! I'm going to try this first thing in the morning.
I can hardly wait!
DAY 1 - THE OIL SWISHING TRICK
Ok, it's first thing in the morning and I'm oil pulling as we speak.
Since it's Sunday, I can't get good quality sesame or sunflower oil, however, the person who lived here temporarily has left some refined sunflower oil, so I'm just using that. It's better then nothing and on the site they said it would also work.
Well, my 20 minutes are up, just a minute.
My conclusions thusfar, for a first time:
it was dead easy, actually I had expected it would be difficult to do twenty minutes, or that I would be 'one of those persons who has to at least swish an hour or so to make the oil change happen'.
None of the above.
Swishing and meanwhile checking the forum, and time just flies by.
I had to spit a bit of it out after 8 or 10 minutes or so, because my glands produced so much saliva, I just couldn't hold anymore, but after just ten minutes, the whole oil thing was already milk white.
What does this say? That a lot of detox is happening right away?
Swishing with the rest and spitting it out after twenty minutes and the oil was even whiter, plus foamy. Interesting.
Well, no wonders yet, but I suddenly feel very hot. Must be the blood rushing up to my head. And it was a wee bit tiring swishing like that, but well, no big deal.
I will try to do this three times a day, that may sound ambitious, but I'm so curious what will happen and since it is thís easy...
O, now I feel a little headache coming up and I'm feeling a little dizzy. Must be the sudden blood rush as well. And the glands in my neck hurt when I press them. But it could be that they hurt before, I didn't check that. They didn't hurt yesterday evening when I pressed them. Will do a before and after check the next time.
Will keep you posted!

When i press my teeth together there are no more gaps and the pain in my bottom teeth is gone away.
The abcess near my bottom part of my jaw has not grown back and is staying like a tiny bump and my teeth are much stronger:D
The pain is my shoulder is almost gone away and i can look forward to lifting weights again:)
I am so happy with O.P. and will never give it up:)

Well, I ended up buying sunflower oil....good choice, in my opinion! I like the taste (or lack thereof), better than the sesame. I'm only doing it once a day, in the morning, but may try for twice a day starting Monday. One question....how long do you wait after eating before your stomach is considered "empty"? Do you have to have a bm? Or do you just wait a few hours? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I believe the site (www.oilpulling.com) says you can just eat and drink directly afterwards.
I'll look it up...
Here's the quote:
"How much time gap is required to eat or drink after OP?
After doing OP, wash your mouth and then you can eat or drink and no time gap is required."
Anyway, if I feel hungry or thirsty, I'll eat or drink afterwards.
If not, I'll just eat later.

The benefits to this sound so good and I want to do it...did the coconut oil for two days which was ok, all I had. Yesterday I bought organic, expeller pressed sunflower oil and almost lost it...is is so thick I had to gag and spit it out...any suggestions?? I could really use the help~
DAY 2
So yesterday, I managed to oil pull twice.
Not soon after the first time though, I developed some kind of sore spot on my tongue. Maybe this is a sign the oil swishing pulls out nasty stuff...
Furthermore, last night I didn't sleep very well, which is very uncommon for me. I was restless, had lots of dreams (which is normal, but not in this restless manner) and my skin just started to itch all over the place.
It seemed like kind of a detox symptom or something, and maybe it's because of the oil pulling, or due to the fact that I've been upping my raw intake these days and made some major dietary changes, or both...
Well, today I made sure to feel how my glands were doing befóre the oil pulling. They were a bit painful. However, áfter the oil pulling, they were still hurting, but they also seemed more swollen.
Haven't noticed anything yet about dewy skin, white teeth etc, but hey, this is just the third time. And it seems to be doing sómething.
I'll keep doing it and see what it'll bring me in the long term.

I look forward to doing it every morning and hope to start doing it up to three times a day.
I'm noticeing that when i put my teeth together they are very straight and no more pain anywhere in my mouth.
They feel so good and the cavaties that were in my front teeth are gone:D believe it not and the holes are filling in.
My teeth look so good i can't stop smiling:D

Swishing with coconut oil right now. Teeth look nice and it seems to get the mucus really moving out of my body (sorry to be so nasty). Part of an old filling came out of my mouth last week. Not sure if teeth are growing back or what. No pain though. THat's good!!! Glad to be rid of th mercury but unfortunately I swallowed it thinking it was a piece of a nut shell or something. Oops!

Swishing.
Feels VERY odd. Do not like the taste. Blech.
DAY 3
Swished 2x today, this time with organic cold pressed olive oil instead of that refined rubbish. The taste is só much better.
It seems that the glands in my neck dó swell up and tend to hurt after oil pulling. They settled down last night and this morning after pulling, well...
They must be working hard to get rid of something I guess...?
Besides that, I haven't noticed anything special yet.

My teeth have given me fixes for so long and i don't like going to the dentist, i want to keep all of my teeth, i lost one at the bottom on the side a few years ago and i want to ge it replaced if possible in the future but i want my teeth to be strong and gums healthy when i do go to the dentist.
My teeth are so straight, it's amazing when i chew they feel so strong and my gums are look healthier too, i'm in shock.
Also i still feel some pain in my shoulder from a hard fall that i had several months ago but it comes and quickly goes away:D
This happens a couple of time within 2 days, the pain use to last for 30 min. or more at a time and wake me up at night, not anymore:D
I can't wait to see what else o.p. is going to do for me.

Swishing right now! Getting used to it and the flavor isn't so bad anymore.
For the first time in over a year, my tongue is not coated white in the back anymore. I've also noticed the skin on my upper arms is drop-dead soft. Crazy soft.
Hi guys! I'm so excited to see all the positive press that our thread is getting on this board - it's so great to hear people telling others about the benefits they've experienced. I never thought this thread would be as wonderful as it has become, so thank you thank you thank you to all pullers!I have great news: my KP is gone!!! as in - only smoothness left:eek:
I've had these annoying bumps on the back of my thighs, arms and butt since age 12 - and as I started OP'ing they've been diminishing drastically - then suddenly after simplifying my diet and upping the OP'ing - I started to get soooo dry all over, I mean - crazy dry, like flaky:confused:
It lasted about a week - and then, when the flakes were gone - it was like I had been given new skin!
So keep pulling and serious stuff will happen!:D

I'm in for the swish....started last night. and 2 times this morning....had to do a second time since I swallowed a bit the first round and gagged. THAT was f!##$in' gross!!!!
My girlfriend who I taught it to called me yesterday and said "my teeth are whiter and I lost 5 lbs off my a**"
My teeth also look a lot whiter...and I got a painful little bump on my tongue.
My goal is to get rid of the really groddy brown plaque on the inside of my lower front teeth....probably from my old college days of coffee and cigarettes...or from bad stomach ph??

I tried it for the first time today. I admit I was skeptical - I thought swishing the mouth with anything would strengthen your gums and whiten your teeth, and that the improved skin and healed-cracked-heals would be because you're bound to absorb some of the oil and just eating coconut oil would improve your skin - plus coconut oil often leads to weightloss.
I was skeptical about the other benefits - detox and healing of major illnesses. But it definately causes detox. I'm sorry for being a skeptic!
I did it for 7 minutes with about 1tsp coconut oil. (I couldn't get more to come out the bottle). I have chronic fatigue syndrome and found it really hard to keep swishing - my muscles are so weak it was a huge effort and really exhausting, it made my muscles ache and I couldn't last any longer. But even so, afterwards I felt definate detox symptoms. Mucus in my nose, throat, lungs. Heart beating faster. Feeling poisoned all over, my blood feeling drawn, like its being sieved/pulled (like when I use detox pads on my feet). Sore eyes, itchy skin, sore glands. All good!!
I don't understand how it works, but it does! I did it immediately after eating. I know I shouldn't have but I was sitting at the computer and the coconut oil happened to be sitting next to it and I thought I might as well do it while I was reading this thread.
Afterwards, when I'd had a rest I tried again, with olive oil, and managed 20 minutes yay.
Then later I did another 20 minutes with coconut oil.
I would never have thought of using coconut oil but its a great idea - its antibacterial and antiviral itself so should be even better at cleaning the mouth!

hi
i tried oil pulling a few weeks ago, i did it for 5 days with coconut oil in the mornings.. by the 3rd day i was "craving" it because my mouth felt so clean afterwards!
anyway, i just re-started today, with unrefined sesame oil, and i actually prefer it to the coconut already..
i read this page (http://www.youthingstrategies.com/results.htm), and tried sprinkling himalayan salt on my toothbrush and then brushing my mouth/teeth/gums after rinsing with water, and it was awesome.
my mouth never felt this good or fresh :D
i hope to keep it up, at least every morning, maybe evenings too. i don't really know what to expect, so i'll do it just for the mouth-clean feeling :p

My oil is still yellow when I spit it out. I do it for 15 mins. I think I need to do it for longer. After reading the other link (thank you for that btw x) it said that your body temperature may rise. Mine was off the chart last night.

So I did it this morning again. This time for about 35 mins. More whiter than yesterday so I definately think I need to pull longer. Sunflower oil tastes quite pleasant, methinks!!

ok we've got three ladies on board with this at home and everyone is hooked for life after one week.
this started because a friend was having major dental problems and facing all sorts of horrific work, including losing her back chewing teeth all together
she is pain free and healing incredibly quickly....my teeth are whiter and my gums are healing, my hair is thicker, my a** is wider!! I think my thyroid is balance is changing so I'll put up with it (for now)
we are happy swishers!!

I'm so excited about that, i'm looking forward to being able to see without my glasses soon.

Me too. I finally read the whole thread, figured it out and I've been at it for almost 30 minutes for my first time. I didn't see the empty stomach? answer. I think I have to go let it go. Health nuts will try anything, lol. I usually have evco around anyway. We'll see, my teeth and gums have around along time, it can't hurt me.

I Have Been Oil Pulling For A While Now. My Teeth Are Whiter And My Mouth Feels Great. I Have Had A Clog Up Sinuses For A Long Time. I Put One Drop Of Oregano Oil In My Oil And Then Pull It. It Seems To Be Helping. My Sinus Are Draining Now. Something That Hasn't Happen In A Long Time. Just Thought I Would Pass The Info Mabye It Will Help Some On Else.

I thought I was already feeling great with just being raw and then along comes oil pulling! I was always a good sleeper but now I sleep soundly and wake up feeling so refreshed. My BM are easier - I don't eat as much as I poop so it must be old stuff, my apolgies for this comment but wondering if it happens to anyone else. My skin is softer, my receding gums are not sore anymore (this is the reason why I was willing to try it) and, I feel clearer - wonder how all this happens?
Thanks guys/ladies, you have contributed to my happiness and well-being!
Grateful for all of your comments.
Swishing right now... I've been off and on with OP these days. I'm not really 100% sure that it is really the thing that changes my skin for the better. I have come to the conclusion that good skin (like good health) is a lot of factors added all together, and oil pulling does help. It's just that I also must exercise vigorously a few times a week, drink lots of water, and eat raw without too too many nuts (I can eat a pound bag in one sitting without blinking!). Without all of this, my skin still is not quite right.
So, I'm gonna keep swishing, then have a green smoothie and hydrate, be peaceful and loving today, and play a good game of tennis when the heat dies down. Whatever it takes to look and feel healthy, right!?

my housemate has cancelled her dentist appt to have a tooth pulled
and my gums are reattached 100% on 4 out of 5 teeth....less than two weeks pulling people!!
the other thing we are noticing besides (shampoo commercial hair) is our old scars are healing....I had a doozy from a bicycle accident last summer and a burn from my motorcycle muffler....and both are amazingly fading!!

It's great to hear your report of healing through oil pulling.
My gums are looking healthy and pink and not swollen around my teeth, they are whiter and much stronger.
I've had a scare and it's fading also.
I love oil pulling and when my husband got tired of doing it i told him how my
teeth and gums feel and look and he went back to doing it:D

I told my Osteopath about this this morning...she giggled at it. After telling her about it she promised she'd look it up and found it quite fascinating!!
After 30 mins of pulling my oil still looks like oil, only creamy. I read that is due to lack of fluid in the body.
Are there any books you can buy on OP? Or is it just the articles online right now??

Finally! I think I am having OP success. I did the pull in the evening so I was well hydrated before hand. So when I had to spit it looked how it said it should. One weird thing though, I couldn't hold it in my mouth any longer coz it was like the fluid had tripled in size!! Does that happen with anyone else?
yup - that's perfectly normal Little Mango - you just keep pullin':D

I am glad that I found one of the keys of pulling is to be well hydrated before hand!
EDIT: are there any books on OP by any chance?

How long does one have to wait after eating before oil pulling?

That's normal. What I do, if it gets too much, is just spit some it out and keep continuing oil pulling with the rest.
How long does one have to wait after eating before oil pulling?
You can eat and drink immediately after oil pulling, you don't have to wait.

Thanks Judy. However, I was asking if there is a certain period after eating that one must wait before oil pulling. I have heard / read that oil pulling should be done (1) 1st thing in the morning before eating anything or (2) in the evening when the stomach is empty. So I'm wondering if it's okay to oil pull 1 or 2 hours after eating, or if oil pulling can be done maybe 30 minutes after eating.

Oh, sorry, was not reading well...
It's adviced to do it on an empty stomach, so preferably befóre eating.
If you want to do it after a meal, depending on the meal, you'd probably have to wait a couple of hours (unless it's fruit).
I think it has to do with your digestion, if you oil pull a lot of fluids and enzymes are being pulled into the mouth, but if you've just eaten, those fluids are needed/busy in the stomach. So in that case, oil pulling might not be as effective.

i read all 15+ pages of this thread. i am inspired and going to try this this labor day weekend. i discovered this brief article that described some of the benefits from sesame seed oil. http://www.mitoku.com/products/sesameoil/health_benefits.html
I now know why everyone is having amazing results. Especially since the sesame oil's nutrients are able to hit the bloodstream so quickly via the intricate blood vessels under the tongue. That is why sublingual (under the tongue) nitroglycerin tablets are used for folks enduring a cardiac infarction/angina.
For the people that are having tooth pain. Is this pain after the dentist checked you out and he/she decided they couldn't help? I had tooth pain earlier this year as well as some teeth sensitivities and it was d/t cavities/needing to replace an old filling (i hate those old fashioned silver ones). my dentist just told me that i need to maintain the old fillings with biannual visits because they get old/worn out. Please use OP as maintenance and improvement and not replacement for a dentist.
Happy OP
hopefully i will have some success to report to you guys this week

Hi! I keep seeing mentions of oil pulling, I didn't know what it was.. sounded messy!! Now that I figured out what it is.. yeah I think I can find time to swish oil in my mouth! I did it this morning with sesame oil, can't wait to see how this goes. I told a friend in Australia about it, she's had a HORRIBLE toothache for weeks and keeps getting rescheduled by the dentist, so I'm really hoping it helps.

okay, I read through this whole thread, LOTS of info and helpful stories here, just wanted to say THANK YOU! to everyone :D
Oh actually I do have one big concern, lol... I like my teeth crooked!! My dentist is always trying to get me to do something about my overbite and crooked front teeth.. one sticks out quite a bit, I call it my magic tooth ;) (it's where I get my super powers after all!) and I tell him, everyone makes fun of the tooth.. I'm okay with that! If it weren't for the tooth, they'd have to find something else to tease me about.. not sure I'd be okay with it!
I have three broken teeth that are painful, from a head-on collision I got into last winter :( and I've been scared to have them removed, the um.. kind of dentist that does root canals.. said they can't be saved, and require SURGERY to have them removed, uh, no thanks!! I've made three appointments, just for a consultation, with the oral surgeon.. every time I go, but I keep driving right on by! He wants to drug me to unconsciousness, stick his big thumbs in my mouth, cut me with a scalpel, drill into my skull.. aaahhh!!! But they really do hurt, especially when a storm comes in. If oil pulling can keep me out of the oral surgeon's office, I'm going to have to travel the world to give every one of you a giant hug!!!
I'll let you know how it goes!
Thanks again, it really is so kind of you all to take the time to explain this and share your experiences.

Hi y'all.
Here are step-by-step oil pulling instructions that answer some of the questions posted in this thread. Hope this helps!
Courtney
OIL PULLING INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: These are instructions from India in which only 2 types of oil can be used. However, as you will read below in our Reader Feedback section, people are experimenting with different oils, adding anti-bacterial and anti-viral oil essences. Soon we might have a purist vs. renegade oil pulling battle!
INSTRUCTIONS: First thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth, eating or drinking, take 1 TBSP of either sesame or sunflower oil. Put the oil in your mouth, tilt your chin up and slowly swish, suck, chomp and pull through the teeth. Do this for at least 10 minutes. 15 - 20 minutes is better. You want the oil to become a thin, white foam when you finally spit it out. If it's still yellow, you haven't done it long enough.
You can do this 2 more times during the day if you want to detox faster. Make sure you do it on an empty stomach, however. Spit it out in the toilet when your mouth is full and rinse your mouth out well.
Follow with 2 - 3 glasses of water.
DO NOT SWALLOW THE OIL.
It now contains parasites and bacteria!
DO NOT GARGLE IN THE THROAT.
THE OIL IS MEANT TO BE SWISHED IN THE MOUTH ONLY.
DO IT SLOWLY.
HOW IT WORKS:
The oil pulls all mucous, bacteria and toxins from your body through your saliva. According to Ayurvedic medicine, mucous is a poison that must be removed.
Note #1:
Keeping the chin tilted up makes sure the oil gets to the back molars.
Note #2:
The old school says that only sesame and sunflower oils produce favorable results. However, our readers report success using other oils too.
Note #3:
If after meals, wait at least 4 hours before you Oil Pull. After drinking, wait 1 hour.
Note #4:
A worsening of symptoms is an excellent indication that the disease/ailment is being cured.
Note #5:
Do not stop Oil Pulling if you feel aggravated symptoms or heightened side effects after a day or two. Your body is healing.
Note #6:
Will your dental fillings fall out? It's possible but highly unlikely unless there is pre-existing damage or loose fillings.
The oil will start to thin out after a few minutes because saliva is constantly being mixed in and swished about.

Here is my experience with oil pulling. I was a little skeptic (is that how you spell that word?) but after doing research and reading this entire thread I decided it was not harmful so I gave it a try. I was upset to find that I only had cold pressed extra virgin olive oil on hand. (How I ran out of coconut oil without knowing is a mystery) but I really wanted to try it so I used the olive oil. I had to give a few attempts at first - one because the taste was well gross, and two because I just could not swish for that long. I will say though that after swishing the olive oil for 10 minutes (it was still a little yellow) I did notice a little whitening of my teeth. I was pretty excited since I thought the olive oil would be pointless. I did that three times and loved the results. By the third time I noticed whiter teeth and my skin seemed very soft. At this point I had picked up some coconut oil and wanted to try it to see if the results would be different. The taste was WAY better and I had no problem going the full 20 minutes. I still notice soft skin but no difference in the teeth. I have seen enough though to keep this going. I hope that the whitening will still continue even though I only saw an improvment within the first three times. I think that I will head out and get the sunflower or sesame oil because that is what was said to use in the article. I am glad I learned of this and had fun experimenting.

My teeth were out of line due to gingivitus and also the gum loss, both are much better.
No more painful gums or out of line teeth:D i smile more and my hubby has noticed.
Also my hair is getting so black it looks more and more like i've poured a bottle of black dye on it:)
I feel good all over.
I believe the oil pulling will help your teeth and so will using "white oak bark tea".
I brew it up and hold it in my mouth for 2 or 3 minutes and that helps to strenthen loose teeth, i use it along with cayenne pepper.
Love my teeth, hair and skin:D

Wow Bobbie! I'm surprised. I guess there's a reason for waiting so long after eating! Ha ha. Thanks for being the guinea pig for us. :)
I am actually enjoying oil pulling. I thought it would be a pain zee rear. But it's great. My mouth muscles are getting in shape for it. I've even done it twice a day a few times.
As far as results go, my gums aren't bleeding anymore when I brush my teeth. They used to bleed sometimes. A couple sensitive spots aren't sensitive anymore. My teeth are whiter. I changed from an herbal tooth powder to aluminum free baking soda for brushing so that is probably helping with the whiter teeth as well.

Oh no Bobby!! I'm so sorry that happened :-( Thanks for telling us, I probably would have tried it after eating.. I'm not great with rules!
Thanks for the info Bethany. Why cayenne pepper?
I'm on my third day of pulling, I can't say for sure that it's the oil pulling but the teeth I'm supposed to have pulled are barely hurting today, even though it's really windy, which is when they usually REALLY hurt.
I'm using sesame oil. Castor oil is logical.. I personally don't use it because it's dangerous to harvest, there's a toxin on the surface of the plant that causes the workers who harvest the beans to have all kinds of health problems, permanent nerve damage, etc..
I wish there were more published info on people's experiences with different oils. And pulling after eating, could have prevented that trajedy!

I was on the internet and read something about teeth rotting because of the old way most of us ate in the past, loads of greasy food, dead and devitaminlized foods.
The fact that it rotted our teeth and that brushing with cayenne pepper teeth and gums and leaving it on for 5 min or more would help with blood circulation to these area.
I did it and my gums became healthy and pink and my teeth stopped breaking and cracking.
With oil pulling that was just the icing on the cake:D :D
I love to smile and show them off, i do have one tooth that i lost sometime ago and i want to have it replaced.
