cocoa cashew shake

Someone had a good ice cream recipe up not too long ago. Does anyone remember what it was? When making an ice cream or shake do I soak the cashews??? Thanks.

Hi Tetris-
It is always a good idea to soak your nuts...:p
Seriously- it makes the shake/icecream creamier.
Here is my recipe for a Cocoa-Cashew Shake-
2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
1/2 c. SOAKED cashews
2-3 Tbsp. honey/agave
pinch of salt
dash of vanilla
2c. ice
water to make the blender go...
Blend for a long time until it is a shake-like consistancy.
I usually use a Vita-mix but you should be ok with a regular blender IF you soak the cashews first!
