I feel like I've been thrown in the middle of a bizarre outer body experiment cause for the past few days the strangest things have been happening. I've been going raw , not 100% yet , for just about a little over a week . I feel good but not exceptionally good , but I just left that to my body needing more time to adjust to a new lifestyle change. But just about three days ago I was going to campus and passed by a bakery shop that I usually buy a chicken bake from. From almost the first moment I placed in my mouth I felt like screaming O_O. I thought 'what the heck is this, are they trying to kill me or something. It tastes like they used a whole bowl of salt for this little chicken bake'. I managed to finish it with difficulty and thought I'd try the same chicken bake but at another shop as that particular bakery shop had branches. But the exact same thing happened again. The next day I head over to my campus and tried a pizza at the campus canteen. Nothing new just the same as I usually did and it happened again. I finished it but also with great difficulty all the while thinking 'urrrgh how can people eat this stuff :P, for that matter how could I have ever even liked it'. From fizzy drinks to your standard junk food things are beginning to taste, well weird . Has anyone else had such an experience?

Not uncommon - a lot of people find that their taste for SAD changes once they've been 100%.. If you are having so much difficulty finishing up all the SAD food you have been buying of late because of the unpleasant taste, why not just stick with delicious raw and enjoy?! ~ Cathy

Exactly , thats just what I'm going to do . All the way back home I kept chanting 'never again never again'. Its bad enough the food is starting to taste awful , it's also making me feel just. well sick. After my meal at the canteen I could actually feel my stomach having a hard time digesting the so called 'food' :P . Later that day i felt like my nerves were piercing through my skin >_<. I always was really stressed throughout my academic year, now I know why (grrrrrrrrrrr!).

Seriously, nothing cooked I ahve eaten since going raw has tasted as GOOD as I remembered. That is not to say a coupel things I ate were not good, just not AS good. Some of it was just plain nasty and salty. I don't know how people eat it either.

Yea, I know exactly how you feel! I haven't eaten anything cooked (except for a bad few days of brown rice and tofu) but there is a outdoor BBQ by the market I go to. I used to walk by and enjoy the smell. I wasn't even a meat eater, but the smell was big and bold and would make me hungry. Now I walk by and it smells exactly like it is/should... DEATH! It repulses me and makes me sick. I've had to switch markets just to avoid it! :)

When I crashed in January and began eating all kinds of SAD again, I was appalled at the saltiness of EVERYTHING. Same thing with sugared items, they just tasted falsely sweet, not fruity sweet.
