Can I use parchment paper in place the telflex sheets until I get some?If not,are there any other substitites? There's a recipe that I really want to make, and I have all the ingredients, but I didn't realize that I needed telflex sheets.By the way,can I get them at a store instead of ordering them by mail or on line? Thanks!

Aloha JJ13... I do believe you can use parchment paper instead of teflex sheets - I just opted to buy the teflex sheets cuz I figured in the long run I'd probably end up saving money... in the loooong run!! ;) You might be able to get them in a really good hfs or something like Wild Oats, or maybe whole foods... or a kitchen supply store. But I'm not sure - we dont' have anything like that out here in the middle of the ocean. Well.... We do have a kitchen store but I've never been in there... too scared I'd want to buy everything!! lol!! :D I ordered my teflex sheets from right here on Alissas store!

I ahve heard parchment paper works OK. DON'T USE WAX PAPER!!! I did and it was a DISASTER! I jsut bought more teflex because once you use it and see how non-stick it is, along with the fact it is sized to fit your trays, you probably won't want to bother with anything else.

I've used parchment paper as well and I found it worked really well if I oiled it first... I used raw coconut oil and olive. :)
