View Full Version : Jack Lallane HealthMaster 100
I have had mine since earlier this year - I posted here http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=29119 about it rusting on the bottom. I am so annoyed with this blender right now and probably going to put it away and use my old cheapie. I have to spend 20 mins after making my smoothie every night cleaning it so now I have a dread factor when using it!
I called their customer service and pretty much was told that is just the way it is and it will rust because it isn't stainless steel and is metal.
I am just wanting people to know before they buy it.

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering buying that blender since it was less expensive than the vitamix.

I have Always used a Vita-Mix but thanks for letting others know, someone is always searching for a cheaper appliance. So thanks for letting them know...That might not be the best route.........

I just bought Breville's new blender. It's about $200. So far, I really like it!

That blender got really good reviews in Popular Mechanics.:D
Ok...no!!!!!:p I don't read Popular Mechanics but my husband told me to check out the article.
This was before I bought the Vita-Mix.

I'm glad to hear that!
I bought it b/c I have a Breville juicer, and I trust the brand.
Of course, being half the cost of a Vitamix didn't hurt.:)
I had a cheap-y $35 dollar one before. It did what I needed it to do, but I had to poke and prod and scrape and I could just see the motor burning up.
The Breville handles things much better - I occasionally have to help it, but not much - and it is SO much quieter than my old one.

I have the Healthmaster 100. I've used it for a good few months or so with no problems so far. *knock on wood*
I haven't heard anything about it rusting on the other forums I visit. Hmm... and it's very odd they told you that thats just the way it is. There is a warranty on them. You should exchange it.

I have been seriously considering ordering the Healthmaster 100 too because of the price - can't really afford the Vitamix. If I get one and it rusts I guess I'll just return it.
Question - does it work well? Does it work as well as the Vitamix??
