Does Everyone Know About Private Messages?

I just found out a few days ago about the private message feature in the user CP. I know at least one person I messaged didn't know about it until I posted it on the board somewhere else. Is there any way to have a "new message" notification of some kind? I think adding a feature like this would save room on the boards and be so much easier for everyone.

On the top right of your screen where you log in at, there is a place to see if you have any private messages. When you log in and the forum home page appears it should be right under where it says "welcome analeah" or "wecome curtis."

Hey thanks for the tip Kirk as I usually have my windows minimized and so the part with my name and messages I never see whenI am atthe "home" page. Hmm, I still wish there was some kind of message notification on the other parts of the forum too or maybe if it was on the left side hehe. I think probably a lot of people don't know about the private message part? :p

Thanks Kirk. I'm a moderator and didn't know that!!!!! I was wishing that something flagged us to PMs. It was right there in front of my face the entire time!

Click the Home button at the top of this page. On the home page there is an orange bar to the right labelled "client area." Click Private messages to access your PM. You do need to be logged in to access them.
