Hey guys..I'm going on Day 3 here of 100% raw. Yesterday I had the worst day ever at work. I never get headaches or migraines...but yesterday....they were horrible! They lasted all day. I did drink enough water and I did eat enough...so I'm guessing that it was just the detoxing? Is it common for this to happen on only the 2nd day?

Yeah, it's common to have headaches at first as a sign of detox and/or withdrawals from things eaten/ingested in the past.

Not everyone does, but I personally did enemas and that helped with detox headaches.

thanks guys...

Today is Day 3 and I have never felt better this morning...We'll see if the headaches come back later in the day. So far I'm feeling great :)

Ah, detox. I remember it as if it was yesterday. (wait, it was) Don't worry, it won't last long.

I never had headaches or migraines either. Well only when I accidentally ate something with MSG and that only happened twice (thats what I get for asking AFTER eating  )

When I first went raw, I had a dull headache daily for about a week. During my last period, I had a horrible migraine that lasted all day. A shot of espresso did the trick. I haven't had any since, but it was definitely part of the detox process.

Every time I've fasted, or for any other reason excluded coffee/tea/soda, I've had persistent headaches (which I never get otherwise), probably from caffeine withdrawl. They'd go away when I'd break down and have a diet coke :) When I went raw about a month ago, I got them again when I cut out the caffeine. So I ended up deciding to gradually cut down on caffeine rather than go cold-turkey, because I just can't tolerate having a headache for a week. (I'm not recommending you add back in any bad foods/drinks; I only did because I'm a sissy and couldn't take the pain :p )
