Change of email address not working

Hi - I changed the email address on my UserCP a couple of days ago, but I'm still getting emails from members sent to my previous email address.

Does it take a couple of days for the new email address to register or something? :confused:

I changed my email address too, and am not getting emails people said they sent.

I'm not sure why that is...definitely a more "technical" issue for the web admin. We'll see what we can do!

It's a bit of a head scratcher! - I did get the 'confirmation' email through to the new email address, and clicked on the 'link' in the email to confirm the change of email address. But then today I got an email from a member at my old email address, which was sent this morning.

I'm wondering...was the email you got at your old email address from a member who has written you before? If so, then it's quite possible that they are simply emailing you from that address because it's now stored in their inbox rather than emailing you directly from the site? Or did it have that little blurb that says, "This is a message from Bampot at Raw Food Talk ( http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/index.php
). The Raw Food Talk owners cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of the email blah blah blah"

I checked your profile in the Moderator Control Panel and it is changed to the new email address you indicated when you emailed me so your emails from here "should" be going to that one. If not, I really don't know how to remedy it. :confused:

I'm gonna test it by sending you an email directly from the site here. Let me know if it goes to the old or new.

Hmmm :confused: Bampot wrote and told me she got hers. Umm...let's see...do you have a spam/junk/bulk folder and if so, did you happen to check there?

Do me a favor and email me from the new email address that you changed it TO and in that email, include your old email address that you changed FROM so I can check something.
