:D
OK, I have finally tried the green smoothies and can drink them! Juice = blech for me so I was hesitant to try them. My whole family LOVES them, including my kids. So, my question is, if following the Green For Life theory of a quart a day are you:
1) Eating also? I assume one would eat less, but I just downed 1/2 quart and now want a salad :o
2)reducing the 'dosage' for kids? I would think a quart a bit much for young kids...but I saw no recomendations for young 'uns...

We have so many of the 'issues' discussed in the book that I feel like this would be HUGE for us. I have been about 90%-100% raw (my salad dressing isn't raw, nor is my coffee :o )for about 2 mo. now and feel like I need to go to the next level of health.

TIA!

You know what's fun about this? Eat/drink as you will. IF you want more smoothie, drink that. IF you want salad, eat that! There are no rules other than, hungry? eat! Tired? Sleep!!! Isn't that fun???

I would not consider them to be a freebie, but could work as a snack I'm sure. I have them as my lunch all of the time.

Since I started drinking green smoothies, I do not eat less. I am just as hungry (all the time) if not more so with GS. BUT my smoothies are not as thick as some others are - just packed with a ton of greens. :D

mine are super thick, i often eat them with a spoon. they keep me full if i sip at them over an hour or two... but if i down it then im stuffed for a bit and hungry again soon after.
