one post right after the other :D
my second vitamix question is:
i didnt purchase the dry blade, but im wondering how many of you have it, what you use it for and just how often you use it.
vitamix is here in a travelling show at costco and so it would be good for me to buy the dry blade now if i need it, but i dont want to put out the extra money on something that ill hardly ever use.
thanks!

It's a luxury. Not needed.
I have one. It's nice because you can grind grains without cleaning it to use again for the wet ingredients.
The Dry blades don't really need washing as often as the wet blades do.
It's handy if you do alot of grinding, ect. of dry grains.
The dry blade is specific to kneading dough, too.

ditto here.
extra expense for something I will not use. The original intent was to use it to grind your own grain for bread making purposes. Not needed on a Raw Food diet.

You could use a food processor just as well to make nut flour. You just have to stop for a while so it doesn't turn into nut butter!!
