I was just wondering if anybody had experience with this? I had my candida under control before I got pregnant by following 8/1/1rv (although I was high raw and not all raw) It was going away anyway and then I got pregnant and was worried about not getting enough fat so I have been eating more fat although I wouldn't say a ton it is more than 10% of my intake - and the candida has come back with a vengeance! oy vei! Anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of it while pregnant? I plan on going back to 8/1/1rv after the baby is born (sometime late june) but what do I do until then? oh - I have tried the fruit elimination thing before and that really didnt work for me. I just felt really crummy all of the time. I gave it a couple of months and saw no improvement at all.

Anyway, any suggestions would sure be greatly appreciated!

Is there any way you can contact Dr. Doug and Roz? They just had a baby last week and I'm sure Roz followed the 811, but maybe not, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Sharon unfortunately we just dont have the money for me to have a consult with Dr. Graham, I spoke with him before I started doing 8/1/1rv for a little bit and he said if I needed more help I would need to set up a consult. It is just too expensive. We really dont live extravagantly as we live in my parents basement, have used cars, we really keep things to a minimum but we still barely make ends meet each month. Dixie from the 12 steps to raw yahoo group said though that his wife did eat mostly fruit and followed 8/1/1rv so I think after Pesach I am going to commit to a 30 day raw challenge and restart 8/1/1rv!

Thanks for your suggstion :)

that the hormones during pregnancy greatly increase the risk of yeast infections. I am pregnant and have thankfully not experienced that. Sorry, I couldn't help more.

I think cutting down on the sweet fruit helps
