I just got back from Raw Food Pot Luck event. Male/Female attendance are almost half. All of us are into metaphysics and energy healing. I personally do Reiki and Quantum-Touch. Not everyone in attendance is 100% raw or even 100% vegan. Gentleman by Peter said that he cannot go 100% raw because it make him sleep 15 hours a day. He mention also that he need more protein because of his blood type. He even eat non-plant based protein once awhile. But his Girlfriend is 100% Raw and !00% Vegan. I told the group even I am not 100% Vegan and that I have to eat some non-plant based protein once a while. I told the group my goal is to stay 80% Raw instead of 100% Raw. I personally have to eat some cooked food to stay grounded. I can't go 100%Raw at this point. Another thing is I don't think any of us consume Soy based products that much.

The bottom line is that we are agreed that one must find what works best for them and don't do what Raw Food Leaders do. I personaly feel that you should do baby steps if you plan to go 100% Raw or even 100% Vegan instead doing it all at one.

On the side note, the Raw Deviled Egg-less "Egg" Spread was a hit and everybody like it. It really tasted like eggs. Since I don't eat eggs or any egg based products. That eggless spread recipe will come in handy. I am going have to use less water to make it more thicker in next time.

Oh wow! That's interesting! It will thicken up in the fridge. Did you make it and take it right away? Cuz it does thicken. I'm planning on attending my first raw potluck next weekend. I'm getting excited!!! Thanks for sharing.

A picture speaks a thousand words, and by the looks of it, the pot luck was a huge success. Thanks for the update ~ Cathy
