i use vinegar. it's a great disenfectant and is non-toxic. let them sit more a few minutes with vinegar on and then rinse and dry.

I just lay them flat and wipe clean with damp kitchen paper.

If I've done something oily, I use soap and water and scrub with my hands.
If not, I just wipe with a damp paper towel...

I did try to think to myself before posting my answer "what is it again that they call kitchen paper in the US" but of course it would not come to me. Now what sort of idiot can not remember "Paper Towel"

Sport....understandable as it is not a term you normally use! I love the UK words for (Saran) plastic wrap, ie, "cling film". It is so much more descriptive of what the substance is.

Thanks for the vinegar tip. It is just what my Teflex needed.

I use soap and water and then put them back in the dehydrator and turn it on for them to dry.
