Is there a sub for coconut powder?

Alissa's store is not selling it b/c it is "seasonal," and there are several recipes I want to try that call for it.

Are there any substitutes or somewhere else to look for it?

I haven't tried it but why couldn't you take fresh coconut, dehydrate it, then grind it? I have some dehydrated that is (where else) in my freezer and I could try grinding it.
