Is anyone here pregnant right now who would like to join me in a raw challenge? I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and looking for a raw pregnant buddy ;)

I wouldn't mind. I just found out that I am pregnant. Not very far, mind you, and I'm very new to raw. However, in just a few days of eating this way, I already feel the benefits.

So, if you don't mind someone who's a bit behind you, I'm game!

Hi Migrou! I'm 20 weeks pregnant too, due December 4th. I'm not up to a challenge at this point, I'm taking it one day at a time, but loving the results I'm getting from 90% raw, and 100% raw every single day I can manage it.

I've only gained 7lbs so far and I am completely astounded by this, I can't get over it! I love how I look, and I've never been able to say that before with any of my pregnancies. I gain 50 pounds every single time but that's on a completely SAD diet.

I barely even remember that I'm pregnant until I look in the mirror, and that's another thing that is so awesome. Usually by now I'm feeling the weight gain, every step is heavier with each passing month, and I think my tummy is usually bigger by now too. No heartburn, either!

How has it gone for you so far?

I JUST FOUND OUT I AM PREGNANT TOO!! I am so excited if you can't tell. I am only 5wks though but I would love to start this with you. I wanted to start slower but really have no desire to eat much of anything cooked. Just have french fry cravings right now but I like raw sweet potato chips for that. ;)

I really like reading these experiences; it gives me so much inspiration to keep going. Like I posted previously, I'm only a few weeks along, but I'm planning on doing everything as Raw and natural as possible.

Last night I gave in to a craving for Vegetable Lo Mein, but just had one small serving and didn't enjoy it like I imagined I would. Afterward, I ended up slicing up a green apple and it tasted like the most wonderful thing I'd eaten all day. It gave me motivation to keep away from all Chinese leftovers today and continue down my "Path O' Raw."

Also, (and this may sound kinda gross, but it appears that we all like to hear and share these experiences with one another), since eating raw these past couple of weeks, I've noticed a huge difference in my skin and several times I've wiped my hand across my face and wiped off big hardened "seeds" of oil and gunk that have just automatically expelled themselves from my pores. Also, I started "making" my husband raw meals. He said he feels so much better and today he had the same experience of wiping things off of his face that had popped out of his pores. Wild!!! This is the best detox I've ever had!

should we start this here? Our own thread like the fasting one? Just for pregnant women who are raw? How should we keep track of eachother? :p
