Hello everyone, its been a while since I posted here. I have been high raw for a while now, and I think its finally time to go 100%. I was 100% for 6 months 2 years ago, and ever since I began eating cooked it has never been the same.

I want to feel that crazy surge of vitality every day like I used to. I want to look and feel my best again. I haven't actually gained any weight, (I went from 198 lbs. to 132 lbs. in those 6 months) but a lot of the muscle mass I gained has gone away. I feel kinda flabby now. And my skin still looks pretty good, but it is nothing compared to when I was all raw. Plus, you just plain feel better in every way. :)

So... no more making silly excuses for eating a bit here and there of cooked food. No more drinking at parties (I'll let myself have 1 glass of red wine, but no beer). No more neglecting my body and depriving myself of the optimal health that I need and deserve.

Thanks for letting me get that out,
Heather :)

Welcome back! It is always good to see familiar names! Would you mind sharing why you went off 100%? It is always good to try to learn from the journeys of other people.

Aloha and Welcome! The title caught my attention! Cuz that's what I seriously need to do! It sounds like you have a real strong background and foundation for raw - I'm sure you will do really great!

if you want to record your journey - head on over to the journaling section and start your own blog. with your background - it would be great to read your posts and follow your journey! I'm sure we can learn a lot from your past knowledge!!

RAWK ON! blessings and enjoy the ride!! :D

Thanks greenfeline! I think I started eating more cooked food when it got colder. I live in Utah and it gets very cold in the winter months. I began eating soups and snacking off the foods I would cook for my fiance. (I still love cooking, darnit! ;)) Ever since then, I've been on a yo-yo, eating mostly raw but then still having a cooked meal every now and then. The last time I was 100% was in October when I was raw all throughout the month.

It's time to get back on the wagon. :)

Thanks Starfire! I have been high raw for over two years now, so I don't think it will be that difficult to make the 100% transition again. I would love to star a journal, I think I'm going to do that right now! :)

Wow! You experieced lots of great benefits from going 100% raw. I'm just transitioning to raw and would really appreciated any tips you can pass on about achieving the weight loss, in particular. Thanks:-)

Hey trugoddess! The weight loss was just the beginning of great benefits when it comes to a raw diet. My only tip I think I can give you right now, is to keep on with it and don't give up! It gets easier the longer you do it, and the cravings for cooked food go away eventually. Its just sticking with it and being consistent that make all the difference!

Don't give in by eating cooked, and you will begin to experience magnificent benefits that you'll probably lose count of! Good luck! :)
