Ok I have been 80-100% raw for at least 3 weeks or so. I do from time to time pick at un raw things but feel yucky afterwards. Yesterday I was making mac & cheese for my kids and found myself doing more then just a bit eor two. I wish I could get to that point were I don't wan't to taste there food, I do here people talk about this. I woke up this morning so sluggish and tired, I know that way of eating doesn't work for me. I also am still not ready to give up my soy latte yet. I guess I am either looking for suggestions or to just vent. Susan

I would suggest : GREEN SMOOTHIES!
They definitely take cravings away... and after drinking them for a while, your body really loves the alkalinizing state its in, and no longer feels the need for "cooked" foods.
Take it ONE day at a time. Some people can transition cold turkey, others need time... Find out what you are, and really be conscious when you are eating... savour every bite, and think of what its doing to your body : you are transforming into a new person...!

Green smoothies ARE WONDERFUL!! plus what about other munchies do you have around? Flax seed crackers, or onion bread is great to fill the gap when you need a little nibble of something! One day at a time, you will find your groove and balance. 3 weeks at 80 - 100% is wonderful - be proud of what you've accomplished and know that you will only keep doing better and better! blessings on your journey! ;)

I know what you're talking about, smarison! I ate an entire piece of my grandmother's carrot cake last night! Luckily waking up wasn't too hard this morning, but I am spending the day water/juice fasting and I'll end it with a nice big salad =) What's the longest you've been 100% for? Try and make it a few days at the very least and things will really start to change, for me it always makes me high and very happy, i laugh a lot and really enjoy everything! =)

Thanks for all the support. I do about 2 green smoothies a day but I was hungry when I started to pick at the mac & cheese. I would love to go 100% raw and I know the only thing holding me back is the Starbucks. I am going away in about a week an a half and I am wondering if that may be the best time to go off the starbucks since I will be away from it. I am a little nervous about staying 100% raw while away. I will prepare and pack but we will be away with others.
