View Full Version : Ear of corn "equilvalence"
If a recipe calls for 6-8 ears of corn, kernels cut off, then what is that equivalent to? 2 cups or so??

Hey Nini - I'm thinking. Last night for dinner I cut two ears of corn and it didn't quite make a cup, pretty close, so I'd say it's probably more like 3 to 3.5 cups those 6-8 ears of corn. What 'cha making???

I find it's closer to 1 cup per ear, roughly, it depends on the size of the ear obviously.
In Raw Food Real World they say that 3 cups corn comes from 2-3 ears.
