Just wanted to find out if people use a protein powder in their smoothies? I tried the Raw Hemp Protein Powder and thought it was good. I know Victoria says you just have to eat the 2 bunches of greens a day to avoid any supplements. I have not worked up yet to the 2 bunches of greens per day yet. Thanks!

I use maca, spirulina, and Alissa's green food powder in addition to a bunch of greens a day.

I prefer whole foods to processed products.
So I would suggest to just get the whole raw hemp "nuts", they dissolve readily in the blender, and add them to your smoothies.
They are very handy, just as handy as protein powder. In fact, hemp milk is easy to make as you really don't need to strain it like other nut milks.

I just started making smoothies and I've been using the raw hemp powder too. All it has in it is just ground-up hemp nuts. I find if I don't use it the smoothies are too sweet/sugary and make me feel sick and hungry, but with the hemp everything is fine (also used ground flax and that works too!)
