I love the Luna Nori Crackers & Ginger Nori Crackers! I used to order them online there but now my WFM carries them! Yay! :D

Lydia's is a local company here, so all the health food stores carry their stuff. Everything I've had is really good! The sunflower seed bread is my favorite of their savory foods. It's not "bread" so much, more like a big thick cracker. Like, it's crispy and crumbly rather than chewy like bread. But definitely yummy. And their fruit/flax bars are SO good...the carob hazelnut one is the best! And my mom, who isn't even raw, eats their cereals almost every morning. Oh actually, one thing I thought was just kinda so-so is the apple fig bar, but I had it like 2 years ago, maybe it has improved since. Everything else I've tried was great! I'd say it's worth trying their stuff at least once, even though they're a bit pricey.

I did not like the cereal that I bought from them. I bought the cinnamon cereal. I tried to eat it a lot of different ways and still did not like it. :( But, everyone's taste is different. I didn't like the flax crackers either, but the nori crackers were good.

They are local so I purchased a lot of things from their booth at one of the (Berkeley) farmers markets and in the stores. I like the crackers, "Seasoning" the fruit bars the most.

They used to have a restaurant in Fairfax, but when I went by there recently, they were shut down. :(

Hi Barose- i am in/near Berkeley, too and did not know Lydia has a stand at the farmer's market!!! Can you tell me if it is the one on Shattuck or the other one near Berkeley High? Wow, that is exciting!!!

That makes me SO sad:( I totally wanted to try it, but just hadn't gotten around to it yet. A couple days ago I was even thinking about going there. Darn. I don't know why raw places haven't quite caught on up here like they have in SoCal. Cafe Gratitude seems to be the only exception.

Mmmm... me too! The Luna ones remind me of that Veggie Booty... I used to be obsessed with it before I was raw.

Me too. I was hopping that they were remodeling, but it seem like a totally different place was taking its spot.

I had some of the pizzas at the farmers market but that was it. :(

Cafe Gratitude (4 locations!) and Alive does seem to be the only exception. Hopefully that would change soon.

The sunflower "bread" is awesome with guacamole spread on top, and tomatoes, raw olives, onions, etc...I mean REALLY GOOD, but my favorite is the Italian crackers! WOW! These are simply the BEST raw crackers I've ever had.

Lock me in a room with a bunch of Lydia's Italian crackers, and when you open the door...you won't see any crackers! :D

I could literally live on them...if I HAD to. :p

I used to love the carob hazelnut bars, but sadly, this is the only non-raw product she sells. The other bars are really good, though.

my 2 cents
Like Andy, my favorite are the Italian crackers! Yummy!:p
After that I really like the sprinkle seasoning, which actually tastes alot like the Italian crackers, but in seasoning form.
I have tried the sunflower bread and liked it, but still love the seasoning in the Italian Crackers best!

ciao,

Elena

I got my crackers last week, I have to say that I didn't like any of them at all. Tasted awful to me. I guess I'm used to making/eating my own homemade crackers.

That's too bad you didn't like them :( Now I feel kinda bad for recommending them! But I guess it's true, it's probably best to stick to homemade things. Although, I'm sure there are a few people in this thread who wouldn't mind taking the leftover Lydia's off your hands :D

It's okay, the mango ones were pretty good. :)

garden granny- I wish we could trade. I liked the crackers and loved the sunflower seed bread, but the mango and raspberry bars.... what the heck?? I thought I was going to lose a tooth trying to eat those things...
