Anyone have some good recipes they like for granola or cereal? I'm starting to need something other than green smoothies in the morning...

Thanks, and keep on rawking!

There is a great grawnola recipe that I got from here. Here's my version of it (which my dh absolutely loves)

Rawnola (Original)
2 cups oat flakes (Alissa sells raw ones)
1 cup each of almonds, walnuts, pecans chopped in food processor (remove)
2 apples chopped in food processor
mix all with 1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup agave and/or honey combo
add cinnamon or other spices

Our version
2 parts oats
Nuts as noted
Apples - 6 ORGANIC granny smiths (they are small)
8 oz. apple juice
1 oz. lemon juice
Sweetner - 1 part (taste test it, add as desired)
1 TBS cinnamon

My preparation NOTES:

Chop almonds separately

Use mixed sweetner – ¼ c honey, ¼ c agave

Place oats in bowl

Add nuts and mix

Add apple juice

Add apples and mix

Add cinnamon

Add sweetner

Add almond butter

The mixture is very doughy (wet) when it goes in the food processor

I too need something more than just green smoothies in the a.m. I've enjoyed Anna's (MaRaw) banana nut pancakes (www.therawtable.com) and Ani Phyo's flax pancakes (I believe the recipe is on youtube but I got it from her book). Rawkinlocks also created a yummy cinnamon roll recipe. (Even non-rawbies have enjoyed those.)

Good luck,
