Ok, I am determined to get some sort of green drink into myself. My (dumb?) question is, for a green smoothie, are y'all grinding up greens in your blender with whatever else you are throwing in there? I have read some recipes for smoothies, and the 'green lemonade' but I am not clear on whether or not you are juicing the greens or using the whole thing.

Both! and Either!
If you want a thin drink that just contains the juices of the veggies and fruits, then use a juicer. If you want a thicker drink, that contains the whole vegetable or fruit, and all of the fiber, use a blender and it's a smoothie!
Smoothies are done in blenders, usually the green lemonade is done in the juicer, and is a thinner consistency, like lemonade is.
I like to do juices, because I eat a lot greens every day and don't think I'm in need of all of the fiber that a smoothie provides.
Either way, they're darn good for you! Enjoy!

I agree. May I also suggest you read Victoria Boutenko's book, "Green for Life"? Excellent book! I'm reading it for the third time. So explains all the goodness of GS's!
